Hi guys, I want to let you know that I received an email from Fox France that asked me to vote for the artwork that will be chosen for the Steelbook that comes out in France in December.

Per axcraig and Mams, an e-mail was sent from Fox France, asking which cover customers would prefer, via a vote.

The choices are pictured below. If you had a say, which would you choose?

Finally arrived today! Almost mint - one little ding on the top left. But the package was perfect, so it must have been dented before packaged. Oh well, not bad enough to fret over.....can't wait to watch this flick too.

This is one of several steels I have in my basket on Amazon.Fr... but should I go ahead and order them all at once? or is it better from UK customs hit point of view if I split my oders up? I want to order about 10.... any advice much appreciated....

I had a similar situation with XMen. Got both the UK and the French edition. If you want to admire the art, go with the French one. If you would prefer to keep the French one sealed because it may be more collectible, then go with opening the UK one.

if it does go up in value, open or sealed, it will rise either way.

I do like the UK front cover (but the rating logo and back text are so distracting and ruin it). The France is beautiful overall, not perfect, but has many nice features and extras over the UK.

Personally, if I started collecting steelbook 5 years from now, and I have to choose between the 2 version, I would chase after the France version...

I'm sure there are collectors who are going to chase after debossed steelbook...and the France is one of them.

I say open it up. and display it. Its a beauty. One of my top 10 steels this year. Maybe even top 5.

Mine arrived yesterday (with XMFC) beautiful SB.

Whilst it's not perfect, it's so much nicer than the UK release.

Yes, Amazon [DE], [FR] [UK] all ship to the US and even Amazon.JP does but you have to create a separate account for them as there site is much different and you can't use your US account with them. Also try using Google Chrome to auto translate the page for you on all those sites, it works wonders.

i must say...i'm very impressed with this edition...got it today...and now that i got it in my hands i can just say that this is the second best steelbook of the year...after THOR of course....France the best country for release this year...

Got mine in the mail today. VERY beautiful steel I must admit. Funny, my Xmen FC came wrapped beautifully in a seperate box but my Apes was just sitting there with stuffed paper.. Good thing they came undamaged!!!

I don't really mind the UK one tbh, it's simple clean and with English title, yes this one look more stylish has the back/inner art and extra DVD and senitype, I really don't mind the French title but this would have been a killer Steelbook if and only if the DVD/BD etc top banner was not there or at least on an insertinstead being printed like that, having said that I still like both steelbooks

Region code is going to be a deal breaker for me as I want to watch this one badly!!.. have not seen it yet.

ok.... I did a break down of the two releases for this movie, UK and FR.

Uk only had 3 things going for it imo: Title, Cover Art, and Region Free.

FR had 5 things: Inside Art, No Logos, Back Art, Region Free, and Bonus (Film Strip).

So the FR is now
