Hi guys, I want to let you know that I received an email from Fox France that asked me to vote for the artwork that will be chosen for the Steelbook that comes out in France in December.

Per axcraig and Mams, an e-mail was sent from Fox France, asking which cover customers would prefer, via a vote.

The choices are pictured below. If you had a say, which would you choose?

you forgot one of the most important piece for the France edition - debossed title

ok.... I did a break down of the two releases for this movie, UK and FR.

Uk only had 3 things going for it imo: Title, Cover Art, and Region Free.

FR had 6 things: Inside Art, No Logos, Back Art, Region Free, and Bonus (Film Strip), debossed title.

So the FR is now

Its actually embossed title. Debossed is Super 8.

Its so pretty though. I don't think the French detracts at all. The art and black color blend so well. One of the best of the year IMO.

I just watched this one last night - great movie.
The steelbook displays great with my 5 disk edition of the originals. Also, since the 3rd disk is a bonus DVD, and not just the digital copy, i installed another disk hub on the left side for a permanent placement. (I hated that blue DVD sleeve that it came in - just ugly and didn't go with the set, IMO)

I'm glad I ordered this. It looks really good. I especially like that gold banner in the middle on the front where all the monkeys are going ape sh*t.

This one looks way better out of the shrinkwrap. The flat black just looks good with the gold color.

Got this in the mail today, but there is a small dent on the edge near the spine, its not very noticeable, but it makes me just the same. Considering sending is back... how is amazon.fr's customer service with these issues, anyone have any experience with them?

No probs just do what I did ask for a replacement copy to be sent out straight away and follow the returns page and return the damaged one (you will need to pay the postage).
Its best to check once its returned that they issue with a full postal refund as they normally just issue a standard French postage refund of 1.66 Euros if they do then email them (Pref in French using babelfish) telling them how much it cost you and from what country you are from and it should be sorted straight away for you.

i ordered this along with xmen 1st class and batman begins/dark knight black steel..i think better looking than the uk version besides being in french..
