Not crazy about the text 'Director's Cut' on blue banner and no artwork on back. Just a solid black color.

Grab the Aussie one if you can find it and add your own inside art. The outside is awesome and has a really nice glossy finish:

There was never the 'perfect' version for this steel. All of them have good points and say constructive points I like the black cover, nice and simple.

Agreed. You hardly ever see the inside of the case and if lack of art is a problem, you can always make your own.

A steel with NO inside artwork has never really made it to the top steelz of value from what I have seen. A lot of the rare german ones with printed back are all top on the rare list. Best I seen is predators uk lol

Not a big fan of it either but there are exceptions.

Plenty of GER steelbooks have them like Hellboy and Shutter Island for instance.

The only good thing was the inside art and the booklet, everything else was inferior. That's the trouble, each release has it's good and bad points, there's not one definitive release to own.

Yeah, +1 on that...I just have the UK and DE releases.

I own 8 of the 9 Robin Hood steel editions!! I love me some Robin Hood!

I saw one of these at the FS near me today, but it seems it is a returned item coz it is wrapped in plastic (instead of shrink wrap) and the backing card is missing.... just found it weird
