Robin Hood (Blu-ray SteelBook) (Futureshop Exclusive) [Canada]

Not sure about the limited thing. The big FS I go to only had about 20 copies so I thought it was limited, I was there to watch them open the doors so I was the first buyer ;)

I then went to my other 2 FS'es, much smaller ones, and they had at least twice the number of copies as the first one, with one of the 2 having probably 50 copies.

Not sure what the numbers will be like today though, but online shows all 3 of those stores still have stock

Hmm. Guess it must depend on the store - just read a lot of folks reporting low quantities.

But glad I passed on this one - don't like the back of it at all. :(

It's not an Ironpack...WHAT? WHAT DID I SAY?

SOMEBODY SLAP ME. EEK!

I was surprised to read some of the OOS posts as well but I guess you just never know. I might go up there today and find one trashed copy left at each store

Just returned from one of the smaller, less busy FutureShops in Calgary, and the Robin Hood Steelbook was still very plentiful up theere, like 30+ copies at least, they even had a bunch tucked away on the shelf under the "R" section.

I do not think this one is that rare

EDIT: Post #200 :oohyeah:

Thanks Michael - I was starting to worry a bit that for some reason, people had to have the "hood" in Canada. Given it's box office take, that really didn't make sense. :ohno:

first no inside art now no back cover art

!!!!

At least the blank insides are easier to remedy than the no back cover art. Changing the back means having to buy either the UK steel or AU steel (can't use the German or NL version because of foreign language at the back) and doing a Frankenstein. But if you do this, that means, you'll have to print the other half of the inside art yourself (sounds too complicated eh?) lol

If you use the back of the AU steel to change the black back of the FS, then you'd have similar front and back images. You can then make a flipper similar to ninja assassin or rock n rolla. :D

Anyway, I did get both FS and AU steels but most probably, I'll be trading or selling the prior and keeping the latter. Can't wait for both to arrive.

Btw, my friend in Canada was able to grab a copy today without any problems. I think the FS in his area still has a lot of copies in stock.

I liked this movie because it leads to an awesome part 2. There is alot of character development so many people just wanted all this action so they trash this movie.

Ya, but $50.14US + shipping is a bit over the top.

Not sure what International shipping is from Axel, but I can get it to a US member for cheaper

$50.14US + $2.58US (shipping) = $52.72US

Definately can do cheaper ;)

Will do, thanks Crash :D

No way, the Australian one is much better. The only downside is the lack of inside art.

Thats why I didnt get that version because the lack of artwork.

I believe I had the UK edition and it's fine by me. The FS is almost sold out now although I know a store which has 2 copies left. Almost picked it up at one point, but $35 is too much for it if you ask me.

UK version had too much writing on the front with the logos, I sold mine for £5

The only good thing was the inside art and the booklet, everything else was inferior. That's the trouble, each release has it's good and bad points, there's not one definitive release to own.
