I just got this info when trying to figure out HOW limited it is... In regards to the certificate.

We don’t know how many they used for this edition, but the majority was used for this purpose - they also sold them at other retailer’s without certificate

Media Markt? (least we know the amazon one is the best then, once its out of stock no more numbered certificates.) Wait, I think they are talking about the german steel in general which would make more sense as opposed to the box.

Guess we need to contact Universal Germany to get a real answer ... though they may not shed too much light as it may take a while to find the right person for the answer.

Yeah it's pretty salty after conversion. I just have one left (sealed) that I'm selling and then I have mine that I opened. It's awesome.

It's a nice Box Set but if you don't mind German text in the booklet
I noticed the price drop the other day if you not already got the steelbook itself it's a decent purchase

I got the German Steelbook on it's own back in 2010 back when my steelbook collection was in it's early stages
