I doubt it. The guy that designed it is good but he is obviously not he photoshop ninja he thinks he is. I noticed how off it looked the moment I saw it.
 
Why can't they use the original Robocop logo? All these home video efforts look shite. Imagine if they replaced Indiana Jones. It would be sacrilege. One of the greatest sci-fiction films of all time and one of the best filmds of the 80's has always deserved better treatment than this. The only one I really liked (at a push) was the criterion edition because it had the original logo.

:LOL: to this! Question is, is it actually going to be a huge improvement over the current Blu-ray Disc? I know it's remastered, but y'know what I mean.

Well, I haven't looked into comparison screencaps (don't know if any are available yet), but I've heard that the previuos release was culled from the same transfer used for the DVD (though this could be internet hyperbole, you know how it is). The new one is a 4k transfer.

Either way, the remastered amray preorder is <$14 USD on amazon right now, so a reasonable investment to find out.
