It's the usual Amazon tactic. Was not selling as expected, so lets make it OOS and increase demand, making us feel like we missed something.

Pacific Rim was a good example.

It should trickle back into stock, but probably more expensive too.

Hope so likes! but cant see zavvi taking it down because of discount codes when they dont work on steelbook pre-orders anyway, we shall see....

Zavvi Pacific Rim price is crazy

Again I expect there was lot of overseas orders for the Robocop steelbook
It was sold out day after reports of how good the video quality is and its a very popular film and the previous Robocop steelbook also sold out as well before release date

It has sold out now, but can get in HMV for £15 at mo. What I mean is that close to pre order, Amazon had if out of stock, but it trickled back into stock, 15-20 copies at a time, causing a wild goose chase.

Robocop will sell out, just like the first edition did, I just think it won't just yet.

Sainsburys still have it in stock too.

If you go on play.com (Zavvi Outlet) selling Robocop steel for 21.99 in stock(more expensive than main Zavvi site) so Zavvi can't be completely sold out. What's the difference between Zavvi outlet & normal Zavvi site? Are they holding them back?

zavvi's stock on there outet is different to there stock on there own site,despite people saying "omg only x amount left" of a certain steelbook,it's basicly just back up stock. tron and some other OOP'S are on there

So does the zavvi outlet stock come from the same place with same packaging?
As some of the feedback from the outlet store is not good (damaged Steels) yet I have never had a bad steel from main Zavvi site

Its a big improvement over the 2007 release

I was sure Id preordered this from Amazon, just checked and I must have forgotten...damn, I'll pop into HMV at the weekend and see if they are getting any in....Im not too keen on Sainsburys packaging for steels through the post...although they did have the Halloween one instore...(first steel Ive seen in a supermarket in a LONG time)

Thanks for the heads up buddy, was going to pre order begginning of the week but didn't and now Amazon and zavvi have sold out, I would rather pay the £22 price from HMV, than the extortionate prices people on eBay will be asking!!!
