I want this, but there’s no chance I’m paying £24.99 or £22.49 if a code worked for such a old film. Classic yes, but like other arrow steels, should be £17.99

I’ll wait for a drop
Total agree with this if it had 4k included i would pay that amount standard blu ray for £25 no thanks

There is new extras on this release compared to previous UK releases on Blu-ray

If I’m honest, the extras don’t bother me too much. I like deleted scenes or maybe a doc here and there and there’s some films where I’m more into extras etc but I’ve also never owned this so extras won’t mean anything to me on this as I’m not used to the extras before. Therefore, £24.99 = big No

Had it on VHS as a kid, or I’ve watched it on tv over the years plus it’s one of my mates favourite films so if I’ve watched it in recent years it’s always with him as he owns and we don’t bother watching the extras after (that’s why I don’t own it properly yet before anyone asks)

i kinda didnt pay attention to the price, but your right.. it does seem a bit hefty to charge 25GBP for a re-re-release of a catalogue title...

This is classic, brilliant Verhoeven film, but since I already got the previous steel, Im not paying 25 for such an old catalog. For 17 I would bite.

Amazon and HMV price might drop before release date

This is the best edition so far in terms of film and extras compared to previous releases on Blu-ray
New extras content is from same company who is working on upcoming RoboDoc Documentary
That could not be included in full as it not completed yet.

I have pre ordered both steelbook and limited edition

If you not had RoboCop before on Blu-ray this is the edition to get be it the Steelbook or Limited Edition

£25 might be a lot of money for a back catalogue release but Arrow generally do things right. I’d much rather support Arrow than the companies dressing up old discs in fancy packaging and charging a massive premium.

I fully agree with you about Arrow. However £25 is a push considering their previous prices

instant purchase, although no 4k UHD picture on this one will be superb with their new remaster. shame welcome code is not working.

I take it you work for Arrow Video!

At least bags more colour than the previous two UK steels for this movie and similar to this DIY cover and the black Amaray from Japan which evidently suits the artwork better than the blue ...

... but still I find the art disappointing coming from Arrow - best known for spectacular Amaray and steelbook front covers from some of the best names in the business ...

... but guessing that for such a mainstream title there was no artwork more interesting available for them to use :(

For something (a bit) different there's this ROBOCOP unofficial (lol) 'remake':-
