Some of the prices make me genuinely 'lol'. On ebay it's just as bad. Needless to say, in 99% of cases they go unsold indefinitely. Credit to those who put them up for auction; let the buyers determine their real value.

It's genuinely hilarious sometimes. I saw the Wrestler full slip for £70 'Buy it Now' a few weeks ago, no auction, no best offer. Even though it's still on sale for $30 odd dollars. Just £70 like it or lump it. I'll lump it thanks

Why couldn't there be a group buy for this. That would've been extremely appreciated. Now I have to go on ebay and pay $125+ for a $37 steel. It really pisses me off that those idiots post a steel like this at such a high price...it's rediculous.

Maybe take a look around at the Steelbook trades/ sales/ and deals section on here. Someone might have a better price.

Imagine if this forum didn't exist. I'd count my blessings if I were you (and many others on this site) rather than complaining. This is a forum. They aren't a retailer that are obligated to hold your hand to make sure you obtain everything you want.

Exactly this. I refuse to pay this kind of money, as, I just don't have it. The more people that do pay this, the more people willing to sell and turn this into a business, which, I find disgusting.

Anyway. I took a chance on the HMV one for £19.99. It turned up in perfect condition. I was gutted to miss both of these, however, if you do wait, sometimes a good deal comes around for you.

You pay what you are prepared to pay, what you feel is the value. For me, It's normally max of £20.00. I rarely, if ever, spend more than that on a film!

You're absolutely right. I do realize how much I've saved thanks to this forum and how many awesome steelbooks I've been able to aquire because of it also.
I just know for next time to keep a closer eye out for steelbook releases and when pre ordering goes live.

And just to be clear, I'm very thankful for all the group buys and I appreciate this forum and all the information that is available to us here at hidef!
