Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

I wasn't going to get this at first, I didn't really see anything special that I liked. Then I saw the trailer, then I seen actual pictures of the steelbook and I was like I know it doesn't look like much but I'm sure having that racing red steelbook in hand will be nice. Can't wait to get mine.

As its a general UK release, I can't see it being very rare. Everyone who wants it will get one. The rest will be picked up by casual collectors.

once its gone though its gone, not much left online it seems and in the shops

look at The Worlds End and Kick Ass 2

I doubt everyone who wants one will get it in time before it sells out

I'm returning mine...Shrink tears were the warehouse guy forced the steel in the packaging (that e-flute type)

Are you saying Damage to shrink Wrapping or the Steelbook itself

Surely it wont matter as the shrink Wrap will be coming off anyway

Has the Steelbook itself any damage or has the Jcard any damage

Do you keep your Steelbooks Sealed as all you need to so surely is put it in a Wrapping Sleeve and this will protect it

I would never return anything just because of shrink wrap is torn as I would be removing the shrink wrap to open

Weird, it's a beautiful steelbook but IMO it looks like crap when it's still sealed.

166 left on amazon.....IMO this is another example of a beauty which is best enjoyed unsealed. You are able to fully appreciate the colour and embossed treatment fully.

Play.com cancelled an order because they ran out of them. Annoying but there you go. My brother managed to get us 2 copies from Amazon with only 6 left so hopefully we won't be let down by an email saying that the order cannot be fulfilled. I am really looking forward to seeing this in my collection.
