Additional info from Noodles

Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

Got mine after sitting on the fence until I looked at in hand in HMV.
Watched the film with the Mrs last night as we missed at the pictures, big F1 fans in the house, really enjoyed it, pizza beer and film night tomorrow night will be a repeat viewing with my brother.

Very strange that it has the DVD version as well

Just watched this film. What an amazing film. Really enjoyed it. I'm not a huge f1 fan and I didn't know the true story behind the film and I was hooked in the first 15 minutes. If I'm not into a film by 15 minutes I don't tend you give it much longer (after earth).

Great acting and great directing from Ron. Plus good old Hans Zimmer :)

Just got my copy from hmv in store. What a beauty of a steelbook this is, really impressed!

They did have a fair few in stock (lakeside store) however they were not on display with the new titles as they normally put out. Had to check out the blu ray area and found them hidden! Can't wait to watch it now!!!!

Havent watched it yet, but plan on tonight. So the remote trick is stop hit 1 then enter? Should work on panny bdp 85

Besides the good directing, cinematography, soundtrack (I mean everything :)), I think castings are just great... never knew that Chris Hemsworth would be this great, he's way way better than when he's Thor (I heard that he shed a lot of weigh to portray James Hunt) also Daniel is amazing... I heard that Nicky Lauda's relatives got misunderstood by Daniel's accent and think that it's really Nicky voice cause it was so close ... anyway my point is I think it's Ron's best film imho... :)

Just finished watching the movie. Really enjoyed it.

Great to make a blind purchase and the movie is in par with the steel!

I too ordered it on a blind buy - solely due to it being red and looking like a very simple yet elegant design.

Im so glad i got it (even got refunded £4.40 from Amazon due to their price promise) as it was truely a wonderful piece of film. And it has become my joint favourite film (on blind buy status) along with WIR :)
