Additional info from Noodles

Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

Shame that there isn't any left. I guess all the ebayers got wind of how much it'll be worth. I figured it would sale out like the last few nicer SB's. Sucks for anyone that didn't get one as it is a really nice SB. :(

My copy arrived today in a completely smashed in box with the opening/seal re-taped up. Other than a loose disc and a rip in the shrinkwrap, no dents! But that was a little too close for comfort!

Awesome steel though and a perfect example how sometimes less is more ;)

Any chance this will come back in stock? I didn't like the plain look before having never seen the film but watching the film recently has changed my mind (one of my favourite movies of last year now). :)

This is one of the best ones since Drive. I'm not really into the Marvel ones and this one is very simple but effective.

I got mine from Amazon UK today...only 4 had been still available when i ordered. I got shocked when i came in and see it as the package looks like it was run over by a truck, one side open but happy to see the Steelbook is still mint. Great looking Steelbook...looking forward to watch the movie

Ordered from sainsburysentertainment last week, but order didn't get processed until next day when out of stock and was told probably would get canceled in a week or so.
Picked up a copy from HMV on friday (lucky) and then get dispatch email from sainsburys today, so must be some more stock in.

After a while seeing people with this all over the site im still not seeing what everyone else is seeing with this steel. Can someone enlighten me as to why this is so nice?

Cant think of a steel that looks so boring like this apart from the hangover trilogy.

The old mantra, "To each their own", would apply here. If you don't see why it's nice, it's just not for you. Nothing wrong with that.

Nothing special about this steel at all. It's the hype along with it selling out gets everyone on a mad one. This will be selling for below cost price on ebay once all the hype has died down along with all the rest. Some great bargains to be had lately as generally the price of steels is falling. The more the market gets flooded the more they will keep on falling. This is one of the most basic and boring recycled baked bean tin with a botched paint job I have seen yet. Can't understand the fuss at all. Sometimes less is more but not with this one. The title does suit the design though as it was most definitely rushed.
