Just been chatting to Elliot Cardona (the guy who designed the artwork) and he confirmed that this has "a matte finish with a Pantone red and embossed lettering." Shame it's not gloss, but I can live with it being matte because I like the artwork so much. Can't wait for this one!

I'm not sure how Base work their system. For me, for the last 2hrs I could process it through checkout at £40 but the description said Out of stock the whole time so I didn't chance it.

That's what it says when they're OOS.

When comes in stock, the price changes to £21.99 and underneath it says it's dispatched and sold by BaseCH.

For about 30 minutes, I just went back to the page and refreshed until I saw one pop up. Make sure you're already logged in with credit card info added because they go fast.

Shipping to Canada is £1.49.

Unfortunately, they pack in jiffy bags, but they're good when it comes to refunds/replacements at least.

I sincerely hope all those who ordered get a copy,but to leave me hanging for 5 days when i could have originally got it from amazon is taking the piss.

The worst thing is i had to email them,they didn't even have the courtesy to let me know.

Anyway I got one off amazon yesterday for £30,better than the £40+ on ebay but nowhere near as good as my original base order at £19.53.

A few years down the line maybe but within a few weeks of what was a general release across a number of retailers. Is it simply a case of a product turning out much better than people anticipated with the resulting law of 'supply and demand' taking over?

I came to this thread expecting to hear general chatter and seeing copies, not the mini crisis that has formed around this title. Once it sold out, people had to have it. I thought of ordering an extra copy when it got here, but what's the point when you have one perfect copy?

It joins a lineup of spectacular RED releases.

I wish I had my Omen, Scott Pilgrim and There Will Be Blood, but I may have had to move to another location.

Sorry. I don't quite get your point here. 'Cus sofar this thread's being informative to me : it shows me the price trend and where to get one copy.

So you've got two copies and one is in perfect condition? That isn't very helpful for me...
