I was very surprised thought this would be rubbish but loved it really looking forward to getting this
same here i pre-ordered but may cancel.
i really want to hear a confirmation that this is a g2 though
Its a uk release it 100% G2 its USA that is maybe uncertain weather its G1 or G2

haha ok ill keep my amazon UK order then.
i might call Best Buy tonight just to make sure the Safe House steelbook is g1. id much rather just pick it up from BB but if its g1 im just going to end up returning it or selling it.

I hope so too. Sadly I can't turn it up anyways due to the location of my entertainment setup. Someday though I shall have a dedicated HT room fully soundproofed, lol, and then beware thy neighbor and other residents of the home!
My next door Neighbor is a little old lady and one of these days she's gonna get a heart attack due to all the loud explosions.........

I know what you mean. In the summer when the windows are open most of the day and night it sounds like a war zone inside our house as there is always someone playing a FPS game or some kind of movie with guns and explosions happening. Bluray sound is truly amazing and LOUD!
Wreck confirmed it was G1. In Wreck We Trust. He has never mislead us before.
I'm new at buying imports so it might be a stupid question but I would love to get this steelbook but are they region free?

I watched the US amaray edition and the audio is stupendous! Gunshots are loud and impactful yet clear and crisp. Explosions and metal scrapings from car crashes are not over done with too much bass. I think the audio of this one could be on par with Act of Valor which has one of best gun fire scenes of all time (river scene if anyone is asking). Plus this is a great action movie too
