Yeah, it works if it's exclusive to the region, but it's not a worldwide exclusive.

In today's global economy, the term itself is quite misleading.

Iron Man, I believe, has been confirmed as G1 sized.

The general rule of thumb I've been following with the french steels is that if it's listed as a "combo" release -> dvd / blu-ray, then it will likely be G1 sized.

If it's only blu-ray, you might get a G2 one.

that version is/was confirmed to me to be G2 sized along with every other Japanese blu-ray steel announced or up on co.jp except IM2.

Which is interesting how Inception is limited to x.xxx amount (cant remember the number right now) when it is infact G2 according to my source.

Yes you are correct, it is no longer available. You still can get the German Salt steelbook.
