yes there are people out there who dont like the slips.not easy to understand for those people who know the value of asian steels and buy them only because of the slipcovers.

i also read a post from someone who said he opens the taiwan steels and puts the slips into the bin immediatelyEEK!

:sniper:

Do you have his address? I am not above rummaging through his bins for said slips.....

unfortunately not;)

i just thought :shoot: and continued reading.

but a great way to raise money is to buy an open Captain America, then search his bin for the slip and sell it as the taiwan version:hilarious:

This is why you cant open your steels with slips. Once its opened you can never be sure what country the steelbook is actually from. Thats why they drop in value faster than any other.

absolutely what i had in mind:thumbs:

another point is if people are planning to open their steels anyway, they can really buy the cheaper UK ones(or other countries of course)

He might as well gather a load of £10 notes and shovel those in the bin too. Same thing.

Totally Agree!! :hilarious:

Hi Rob,

Did you get your Steelbooks eventually?

I was lucky and all 3 copy's of Salt slipped through the customs net!

No mate. Kimchidvd package retained by Customs (the dreaded GBCVTA status). As of now they're not releasing it.

If any of you are asking Tony to mark packages as gifts, be aware that you're dodging a bullet if they come through ok.

I just think the guy wouldn't no the difference between a Picasso and a drawing my 2 year old nephew could draw.

:hilarious:

Wow, how condescending because someone doesnt like a paper slip on a steelbook

They probably buy them to open them, look at the full package and actually watch the film too!! MADMAN!! :squint:

Each to their own and all that surely? And no need to mock them on a forum where everyone has the same interest at the core?

Just to give those who still interested in getting this a heads up.
JSDVD will be listing some of the stocks they found from their other retailer.
Keep a look out if you need one...

Just picked this up for £26 on ebay - was the 800 print run ever confirmed ? It doesn't seem to be mentioned on the thread
