Is this 100% conformed to be region locked? I got my name down on the group buy to help support the site but I guess if its region locked ill get the amaray from here in the states so I can replace the disc.

This is very well put, i would have to disagree though and not partly but totally.

Firstly this has nothing to do with any ES release who are a retailer not a forum. ES also have very very strong links with Paramount which is in case anyone is not sure a major studio.

This forum has minor links with retailers such as Zavvi where this steelbook was sourced from.

This release is completely different in that it is sourced from a retailer and not the studios, which is why in my honest opinion it will never be classed as official by anyone other than this forum.

To put it bluntly, anyone with the cash and links to the retailer could have done a deal for these.

Please dont let this detract from the release though. A huge amount of work has gone into this from good people on this forum. and beleive me even more work will be required to pull all the money in from each buyer this is no easy task. Fair play to the guys who have put that work in. \But lets face facts, this will never be official and will never command big bucks like the ES releases. Just check ebay in the days to come and you will see that really this is classed asa nothing.

But the ES titles reference came about from your original post where you refer to GI Joe selling 2k in a day, which HDN no doubt played a huge part in given that they had info from the retailer and promoted the title 2 days before it even got listed for retail on Play. Didn't see any other forum with that advance exclusive info, or all Zavvi's titles announced well in advance of listing date for that matter. Or artwork being voted for by any other forum. Or...

My point here is that HDN have a major link with other retailers and have done for years. They also have major links with studios. And Scanavo. And other forums (who HDN even help sell exclusives for too, but of course they don't count because they aren't a retailer either). HDN are hugely influential but don't brag about it ever. Don't need to really because the right people know anyway.

So they probably don't mind too much that people see this a nothing because deep down all the people who matter know it's something and that's good enough for HDN.

I'd love to say a true test would be that these won't really appear in numbers on ebay, meaning that the people who secured copies genuinely care about them for their significance rather than cash value. But reality is they probably will because money talks and I can't vouch for a few of the newer members who secured a copy. Time will tell, but this exclusive is not about money for a large percent of us. It's more than that. It's just nice to be a part of something. Not nothing

Alias, think of it as being part of the forum. Some members have been here since 2009, well for me coming to 2 years until October 2013. I see it as some fun, supporting the forum after all this time, and being a 'Ninja'. I'm glad to be able to own my first HDN exclusive and credit for the staff for making this happen.

Hi members, many of you have noticed that this new user alias_unknown has been posting a number of things about the release and the forum.

Now typically we are VERY forgiving on what is allowed to be posted on this forum and we have some very simple rules to follow when posting in this section.

After some questions from members here, I did some digging and discovered that this user was actually the same user that had previously gone by the name "Parkman".

Parkman was given some time off from the forum for threatening the forum and it's moderators. We take those types of things seriously, and had given him a short term ban and asked him to come back when he thought better of his actions.

However, he decided to come back before his ban was up and stir up further trouble! I have decided this has earned all his accounts to get a permanent ban.

Rest assured, if he returns again and creates more accounts, I will find those and I ban those as well.

I don't think it will be a big deal, they don't have Alex's awesome custom slip either, and that is their loss. I just found it funny that they wouldn't even put it in their collection manager. I'm not saying promote it, but acknowledge it, respectfully

Paid for this earlier and I can't wait for it to come. The stickers & metal card look stunning and I don't really care if hundreds end up on eBay. I'm glad I managed to get a copy and there will always only ever be 500 with HDN stickers, card and the mysterious bonus extra(s) that come with it. I'm hoping for a mini ninja figure/bobble head lol

I know its a bit early to think about but... What's next
