I haven't even bothered to upgrade my DVD to BD yet. It was funny but it's not something I need to see in HD let alone own the steelbook.

Punker, fyi-'WEA' here refers to art being used for a Steelbook for a specific retailer-WEA has nothing to do with art used for amarays or other editions, previously.

Whoa... hold on there just one minute.

World Exclusive Art clearly refers to artwork never having been used on any release anywhere before, not just a Steelbook release in the UK (or any specific country) by a specific retailer. You don't need to be a Steelbook Collector to understand that one!

The vast majority of Steelbook artwork has been used somewhere else before so it would make the term almost redundant e.g. 'I have a mouse mat with this artwork so it is not WEA'.

I think the term gets bandied about far too often these days. I've got the standard amaray of this film at home and the art is exactly the same!! Thats not exclusive in any sense of the word. The term "Worldwide Exclusive Art" has long been made redundant, IMO. There are very few true exclusive artwork steelbooks anywhere anymore.

Shaolin Soccer is an OK film in my opinion, but Stephen Chow older works are the one I would prefer as they were just hilarious.

Makes me wonder if any other region will be getting this as a shared print as it only 2000, if so hopefully KimchiDVD will get a small amount and give it a lovely slip. :naughty:

Love this film but I'll be sticking with my Korean UE DVD of it as it has all the extras as well as 3 different cuts of the movie

Never even heard of this one. I see a few people comparing it to Kung Fu Hustle (which I loved!), so I may just have to blind-buy it.

Exactly! Glad someone gets where i'm coming from :) WEA is, after all, referring to the art itself, if it said "exclusive steelbook" then yeah, but it's not - it's referring to the "ART".

Point in case, Zavvi's Jackie Brown or Byzantium, can't remember seeing that art used anywhere else.
