This art aesthetic has been part of Edgar Wrights production design for decades. Not sure why the call outs of Dogsh*t art.
It's not dogshit but I can see why some people don't like the choice.

I'm fine with it, I hope to buy the entire trilogy with these designs and new 4k's but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't have been happier with the original poster art used for the steelbook. Actually there's an idea, Dombrowski's art on fullslips and the original art on the steelbook would have been perfect.

I'm really hoping that artwork was mistaken since it will be released around the same time.
I posted in the FR steelbook thread that I read on the steelbookpro site that the French steelbook is being released by StudioCanal and not Universal, and so the expectation is that France will get different artwork. I'm hoping so, and so for now I kept my preorder for the Fnac edition.

Ordered. Hopefully Uni will give us gloss again. Could easily emboss the title, and shaun, given there's literally a border there already.

Dog$hite planet, where every word for everything is "dog$hite"
For me it’s as simple as having only seen the movie once or twice over a decade ago and only knowing of the movie, never seen any Shaun comic or anything from that artist. The art reminds me of the opening titles of Grange Hill and that’s enough to put anyone off . Either way I’ve got my preorder in.

I remember owning the original dvd release that came with a mini comic in the slip. No idea if there was any kind of official tie in comic book series at the time though

Are you saying we should “just say no” to this steelbook?

Kinda crazy how quick this sold out. Guessing scalpers played their part
I'm hoping that's not the case and they're just holding back stock allocation so it'll pop up a few more times.

I don't think it's an especially good release to try gouging on either.
