Despise trying to talk to amazon customer service, like smashing my face against a wall repeatedly. I'm sure they're told act as dumb as possible?
No, they just are dumb, or/and don't care. They're mostly outsourced to foreign countries, the 'classic' India, and speak in prepared copy/paste statements.I'm sure they're told act as dumb as possible?
Misery loves company. Why are so many people still bothering with Amazon UK?
I have Prime, HMV referral has never worked for me, Zavvi code hasn't worked properly for about a year and they don't seem to have any intention of fixing it. It's a last resort really, to get value out of Prime. Why are so many people still bothering with Amazon UK?
I have Prime as well, and also couldn't get the HMV code working for the longest time either. Unless you're really fast, then the Zavvi code won't work for pre-orders... I've only been lucky enough to get in their quickly myself a couple of times. I'd still choose anyone else over Amazon at the moment though, even if it meant paying a little more... better to actually receive the item than have Amazon randomly cancel it without warning, especially on an item that is sold out everywhere.I have Prime, HMV referral has never worked for me, Zavvi code hasn't worked properly for about a year and they don't seem to have any intention of fixing it. I have been using HMV for a few things I think might sell quick, or Amazon take too long to list. I've had to get all Arrow releases from there for about a year now, don't know what's happened between Amazon and Arrow, but they don't seem to stock any of their new releases anymore.I have Prime as well, and also couldn't get the HMV code working for the longest time either. I'd noticed that too, but then never bought my Arrow stuff from them anyway. Wonder if it has anything to do with the fact The Hut Group (Zavvi owners) now also own Arrow. Maybe @paulboland has more info??I have been using HMV for a few things I think might sell quick, or Amazon take too long to list. I don't have any issues with Amazon UK and got delivery of all the pre orders I kept on orderWhy are so many people still bothering with Amazon UK?
Arrow films UK new releases not been listed by Amazon UK as the seller since February 2024 It's due to trade price and file discount dispute between Amazon UK and Arrow Films UKI'd noticed that too, but then never bought my Arrow stuff from them anyway. Same and Critters set too. Expensive month this month though.Charged
They've been doing it all the time as of late. Check your cancelled orders list, it should be on there.Ah bugger, can't find my order on Amazon even though I ordered it on 25th September.
I know I was late ordering (everywhere else was sold out at the time), but surely they can't just make orders disappear and without notice? That's messed up.
I guess I'll wait for the HMV/Zavvi restock then.
