Ok guys, let's keep it friendly. If you have an issue with another member take it to PM or move along. The thread is being derailing with pointless arguments. We don't want to delete posts unless we have too. Thanks.

Praise and other less flattering comments directed at the retailer not unwelcome judging by this quote from EBlu:-
"...positive & negative comments along with controversy, you are all talking about EverythingBlu and putting us on the map as a retailer, so thank you."

Going by that hopefully the downbeat comments on this thread will not put them off passing on information in HDN threads for their future projects and that they won't confine themselves only to Facebook and similar areas to give out info.

Hmm I find that comment pretty silly to be honest... do they really want to be put on the map for the wrong reasons? They need to focus on making amends and posting helpful comments for customers who are clearly upset over the situation, rather than taking digs at them.

If anything I just hope EB have learnt from all this and their next releases have less bumps in the road, because I'd genuinely like to see them succeed... but they're obviously not really helping themselves at the moment, especially with their sudden disappearing act on here.

BTW It's a direct quote from EverythingBlu (from another forum) and not made up by Yours truly.

What's more, I hope it's true and that they don't mind the toxic comments directed at them in this toxic thread and that the scurrilous and cowardly comments here do not put them off posting valuable information in the future on this forum regarding their other releases.

I totally agree noodles, if they wanna p/$$ customers off more then that's the right statement to go with. I too hope that things improve with their company when the mummy ships, and I want to buy hot fuzz (I actually really like what they've done with their first boxset) but they really need to get in here and make an apology to their customers on the delays in getting their steels shipped and let them know when they expect to have all steels out the door.. it would take them 2 minutes to do that.. they put a lot of effort into keeping us informed before, it would help them to continue that.

I know. ;)

Don't get me wrong, it's good if they truly can handle the criticism... but telling customers that they can grumble all they want because it's basically free advertising for EB is very unprofessional, especially when they have genuine reasons to complain (even if some of those complaints are a bit OTT).

Anyway, I hope all this eventually works out for everyone involved and EB are able to turn things around with The Mummy and Hot Fuzz.
