No offence taken . . . but when you say "no offence" here in the U.K. it normally means quite the opposite . . . same as "with respect".
Anyway, it's all good and the question is sound.
What am I even doing here when I didn't even order the product and have no axe to grind ?
Let me answer that:
Firstly, even though I have little interest in this release, I did order THE MUMMY box so EBlu's future is of major importance to me and all the comments about them stealing peoples' money, going bust, gambling money from their releases on the horses, being generally dishonest and furtive and a number of other defamatory statements mean that I cannot sit idly by and not respond.
I'm sure any reasonable person can accept that.
If standing up for someone who can't answer back is wrong then I think that's wrong . . . and it should be clear that all I'm doing is attempting to counter some of the wild accusations made against EBlu and bring a measure of balance to the thread. Why am I even standing up for the underdog you may wonder . . . maybe it's just the way I was brought up.
I don't see anything wrong with that . . . and if you consider my posts "confrontational" then you should read some of the insulting things said about EBlu and about me by people on here over the last however many pages . . . things that really should not be allowed to pass but the mods don't seem to mind so who am I to question the wisdom of that . ..
Finally, Yes, of course, people have every right to voice concerns about their packages not being received so long after the revised 28th May release date and if it were only that I wouldn't even bother to comment.
The fact is that EBlu came on here very recently to apologise for the unforeseen delays and assured everyone that "all active orders will be fulfilled" so that should be good enough to put a stop to the unpleasantness but not a bit of it and if an apology from EBlu isn't good enough there's not much more that can be said.
My final thoughts:
- EBlu is just starting out but took on a larger release than they should have
- EBlu should stick to Blubox only releases of 1,000 units max
- EBlu are here for the long haul and in three years when they're putting out the best steelbook packages on the market nobody will even remember this thread.
- EBlu are following their dream so who am I to stand in their way
Thanks
