Truly gorgeous ! But not as a steelbook, so I'm glad this was rejected. This artwork would have made a perfect Paper Full Slip though.

I could be wrong but I believe that art was supposed to be for the slip, but was rejected in favour of that boring ass skull/yellow background WWA.
The art in the OP was always intended for the steel as far as i recollect.

Agreed... the artwork is awesome, but it would be better suited for a slip. I really like the current steel art too, so I'm happy that was accepted!

The template used in that image is for a steelbook, so maybe this was supposed to be the original steel art...? I guess it got rejected for both a steel and a slip though, which sucks.

They told me back in October (I think it was) that this and Foxcatcher is still happening but anything could of changed within that time frame.

I hope both are stil happening though

Sales are slowing down and many Steelbook releases haven't sold out for PA. Clearly they are nervous doing a Steelbook release.

For this film, they are loosing time and momentum. They should have released it when it was hot. Now the interest to this has dried up. They will sell even less.

I think it's pretty obvious that the delay is down to the studio not allowing certain artworks, and who knows what else is going on behind the scenes... no doubt Plain would love to release this ASAP!

Terrific film. Great picture and sound as well. I think it makes sense for PA to release this with its so-called Sequel.
