I'm an idiot... just checked my tracking for the first time to see whereabouts it is, and the status said "delivered" on Thursday, which had me super confused until I remembered I signed for a parcel as I was leaving the house that day, so left it in the porch and completely forgot about it until now.

But anyway... after seeing it in hand, my dislike for the random floating RPGs still stands, and the artwork is definitely way too dull -- the mock-up shows a beige slip with splashes of orange, but what you get is a slip with different shades of browns (and white RPGs lol). Can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a premium edition to be honest. :ugh:

Oh well... the good news is that I love the steelbook! I even like the spot-gloss pattern that I wasn't too sure about before. The booklet is a pretty interesting read too. Can't wait to rewatch the film later! :)
The fullslip has to be one of the most disappointing efforts from kimchi.
Colours are so muted that they are almost monochrome.
Truly crap . At least the rest of the package is nice.

I feel the Lentis are always the best option - and kind of the default editions in case the regular slips are less than perfect, as appears to be the case here. The lenti, in this case, looks the best out of the 3 anyway IMO.

This is my first Kimchi exclusive in a while, so it's not exactly the nicest "welcome back" I've ever received lol.

I'm genuinely considering picking up one of the other editions and giving my copy of the full slip away... I doubt anyone would want to actually pay for it now.

i wanted a nice edition to complement my plain archive gitd full slip of the first movie, but seems like none is really fitting.. leaning towards the 2d full slip, but that one is apparently terrible in hand :-/

I was half joking mate... either I will actually hunt down another edition and give my copy away (most likely during Ninja Week next year), or I'll probably just suck it up and end up keeping it lol.

My lenti editon arrived the other day

Lenti is fantastic (back is a tad boring but has a nice subtle finish)

The steel and extras are excellent too however, although the finish of the steel is amazing, I’m not sure it suits the art. But it is a great finish.

I don't have it in hands yet, but I like the Fullslip from the pictures I saw :dunno:

I find it goes well with the setting of the movie, desert/sand type of scenery.

That's exactly what I thought too. Like Hell Or High Water.

The lenti doesn't suit the tone of the film at all IMO.

Yes like Hell or High Water

At Least for Once the Lenticular from The Blu Collection is Not an O-Ring Slip like they have been doing but proper Fullslip Lenticular...I'm happy about that.
