Hello and welcome to my Star Wars themed mancave. As you can see I am a huge fan of both Star Wars Trilogies. The statues you see here are from Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format line. The collection itself is still very much a collection in progress, I couldn't tell you when I'll be finished but I do know that I am not done yet and I still have more statues on the way and I also have more posters/prints that will be added once they are framed.

The cabinets you see here are from Ikea, but all the parts are sold separately. The units themselves are called Besta, the doors are called Sindvik, and the interior lights are called Stotta.

In addition to the Star Wars collection the room features a Samsung 46" 3D LED TV, a Samsung HT-E5400 3D Home Theater System, as well as a Sony PS3 and a PS4.

I wonder if George had had the computer technology available back then if that would have changed how he imagined Yoda's character. Instead of killing him off he could have had him arrive on the second Death Star and get in a lightsaber fight with the Emperor. I love ROTJ just the way it is, but that could have been something totally different.



I really like the PAX system, but it just seems too complicated for me with all the additional parts you gotta get. It really looks awesome with the big statues though.

I like the last lightsaber battle in ROTJ the way it is, but I'm not going to lie and say I don't want to see that now, ha. That would have been pretty epic.

Yeah I may just get the PAX and have no glass doors on them. I mean with the size of the DC statues I need something that's 90" tall so I can have three 30" shelves. It's the only thing that will fit them!

I've looked into the PAX systems, just not sure how I'd get the acrylic for the sliding doors. I will decide when the time comes. Still need to get furniture for the main floor but since I hang out in the basement that isn't high on my priorities.

I would love to see Luke show up and just humiliate Kylo Ren.

Jedi is just awesome! Everytime I watch it, when Vader's shuttle lands, I say his lines word for word without thinking about it. It's just seared into my brain.

For me, Ewan defined Kenobi. Nothing against Alec which was a great intro to the character, but Ewan, hell even James Arnold Taylor, gave the character soul. Yeah, I can agree about the emotion/ intensity thing. Duel of the Fates still sets the standard for lightsaber fights for me though. The choreography, the score, the sound, the environment, and how it was mixed in with other things going on. Just perfect IMO. All of'em have something great about them though, really. I could throw any one of'em on for a demo anytime. Some real awesome ones in TCW as well. Crap Josh! I can't wait until you get to The Lawless. Such an epic battle! I don't know if you're watching it too terp, but if not you should.

ROTS gets watched most here, so I would pick that if someone asked which was my favorite. Simply because it gets viewed the most. If you throw in TCW, Landing at Point Rain gets watched almost too much, LOL! My youngest likes AOTC the most. Mostly due to the Anakin/ Padme relationship, and she gets teary eyed at the end where it's just the score and you can hear all the rumbling from the ships taking off then it goes to the love them with Anakin and Padme getting married.

I'm frikkin' dying over here! HT is killin' it!

Duel of the Fates may be the best lightsaber duel, I was in such awe the first time I saw that in theaters. Of course Jedi always fascinated me so the opening scene of TPM when Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are being badass Jedi totally sucked me in. I was crushed when Qui-Gon died at the end.

I am not watching Clone Wars, I started a few episodes but got distracted by other stuff. One of these days I'll sit down and watch it. I have so many movies and shows I need to watch, ugh.

Are the Diecast figs heavy?

Not gonna lie, once I saw Obi-Wan yelling NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in the trailer for TPM, I knew Qui-Gon was going to get killed in the movie.

They have some pretty decent weight to them. I only have the Mark 43 Iron Man, but it looks dang good.

I never connected the Obi-Wan yelling no to Qui-Gonn dying when I saw the trailer. Come to think of it, I don't even remember watching the trailer. Of course that was 16 years ago so who knows, ha ha.

Here is me trying to unbox him:

Pics without Flash make his pants look purple, but I swear they are black LOL!

The details in the suit are amazing!

The Hugh Jackman headsculpt is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen!

I am absolutely blown away by this thing, but I can't wait to see how it looks in the daylight. This rooms limited lighting really blows lol. I might make a quick video tomorrow.

The details in the suit are amazing!

The Hugh Jackman headsculpt is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen!

I am absolutely blown away by this thing, but I can't wait to see how it looks in the daylight. This rooms limited lighting really blows lol. I might make a quick video tomorrow.

The headsclupt is definitely the best Wolverine they've ever done, and probably one of their greatest of all the characters they've done. But now after getting it I have to say I'm thinking about getting that new Wolverine PF too. The brown/tan outfit is not my favorite one but I absolutely love the pose and the base. Its possible they could do a blue/yellow variant which I'd probably prefer, but IIRC I think Wolverine wore the brown/tan outfit during the Japan saga which this statue is based on, but I'm not sure as I've never read it LOL.

The Clone Wars keeps getting better as it goes on.

The headsclupt is definitely the best Wolverine they've ever done, and probably one of their greatest of all the characters they've done. But now after getting it I have to say I'm thinking about getting that new Wolverine PF too. The brown/tan outfit is not my favorite one but I absolutely love the pose and the base. Its possible they could do a blue/yellow variant which I'd probably prefer, but IIRC I think Wolverine wore the brown/tan outfit during the Japan saga which this statue is based on, but I'm not sure as I've never read it LOL.

Yeah I wasn't really getting sucked into the Clone Wars, although I was distracted when I tried watching it.

I have that PF Wolverine on order, I like that costume. It's what he wore when Frank Miller was working on the title. I need to sell my Koto Wolverine and Spiderman (since I also have the PF Spiderman on order).
