Hello and welcome to my Star Wars themed mancave. As you can see I am a huge fan of both Star Wars Trilogies. The statues you see here are from Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format line. The collection itself is still very much a collection in progress, I couldn't tell you when I'll be finished but I do know that I am not done yet and I still have more statues on the way and I also have more posters/prints that will be added once they are framed.

The cabinets you see here are from Ikea, but all the parts are sold separately. The units themselves are called Besta, the doors are called Sindvik, and the interior lights are called Stotta.

In addition to the Star Wars collection the room features a Samsung 46" 3D LED TV, a Samsung HT-E5400 3D Home Theater System, as well as a Sony PS3 and a PS4.

It does actually. It only started raining hard recently because Mother Nature new I bought a new bike, and she totally wanted to screw me over!

Will post a pic up tonight if I dress up. As of now, there's flooding in the streets, and the rain doesn't look like it'll stop anytime soon, so slim chance that we'll do anything other than watch some scary flix.

Ha, yeah she's totally out to get you. That's crazy, it rained here this morning, but luckily it warmed up a little this evening so all the kids got to go trick or treating. My nephews were a dinosaur and Captain America.

Well at least you chose a good show, Seinfeld is my favorite show of all time. I get completely invested in shows then get depressed when they end. Or angry when they are cancelled, ha.

Here's my costume, not the greatest pic but you get the idea.

Awesome Punisher costume! I like that you didn't skimp out on the weapons. The grenades are a really nice touch.

Seinfeld is my all-time favorite show too. I still watch it on TBS all the time.

I actually got pretty bummed when they canceled The Terminator Sarah Connor Chronicles show, that was possibly the most outraged I've been by a show getting axed. Lois & Clark was another one I got really bummed about.

Thats an interesting theory I never thought of. Inquisitors themselves aren't a completely new thing, they were also in the old canon books, as far back as 1987. (I didn't know the date I had to look it up. I'm not that much of a nerd LMAO!)



Its pretty rare for me to stick out a TV series beyond 3 seasons actually. I'll eventually just get a bit tired and move on to something else. Thats really what happened with Arrow. I think the only show I've truly watched every episode of so far is Seinfeld LOL!

We got some really crappy weather over here. It was rainy and cold. The rain luckily letup by the time the Trick or Treaters were out.

It didn't let up here! Lots of flooding. Got a couple ToT's though, and finally just went out. Some friends took pics, so I'll try and get some posted here once they put them up.

I was also thinking about how close the Knights of Ren (KOR) is close to Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR). Ok, maybe reaching a bit, but still, LOL!

LMAO! The chances of it snowing are slim. Although, they are saying this year may be different.

I don't think I saw any kids dressed in Star Wars costumes. I just saw a lot of superheroes and ninja turtles. My nephew who is old enough to watch Star Wars has no interest in it. His cousin is a big fan and watches a lot of Clone Wars, but my nephew said it was stupid and broke my heart.

I probably would have been devastated about Firefly being cancelled had I watched it when it was on. I love that show, but didn't discover it until around 2010. The one that devastated me the most was Happy Endings, it was a silly sitcom on ABC, but it was so funny!

Hey Sith, did you get the PF Stormtrooper yet? I was wondering what a white statue looks like against a white backdrop because I'm trying to decide which color case I'm going to need to order when the time comes. I wasn't sure how all these white troopers would look against a white backdrop.

I definitely see the similarities between KOR and KOTOR. And I don't care what anyone tells you guys, these new movies will definitely take some elements out of the old EU canon.

I wish I could say my chances of it snowing here are slim LOL.

The Stormtrooper was the only one I was concerned about with the white. He does look nice but he would pop more against the black/brown color. But then if you have an all black figure like Vader you won't be able to see it in a black one without the lights on. You just can't win with these things LOL.

As someone who has had both black and white Bestas I can tell you for certain that they both have their advantages. The black/brown units do look more classy, especially with doors. But for me I have such bad lighting in this room that the lights had to be turned on in the cabinets all day and night for me to see what was inside them. Now with white I don't even have to run lights at all, but I want to get them anyways so I can turn all the lights off in the room at night and then just turn the cabinet lights on when I watch movies. I thought for sure the SW statues would look better with the black/brown but after trying out the white I was really impressed you classy it made them look.

Yeah, lighter color statues definitely pop more against dark backgrounds and vice versa. Could always do a checkered theme maybe?

It finally cleared up this morning. In fact, I came in here and replied in my thread, came to your thread to reply, and as I did my kid yelled that the roads were dry and the sun was out. So, I dropped everything and got on the bike. Literally just got home, LOL! my wife loves the snow, but I'm ok going without it.

No doubt they will and have. The resemblence to Revan for one. And also kinda reminds me of the "Ninja" type guys from TCW's Bounty episode in Season 4.

Speaking of TFA, you guys think Kylo was really talking to the helmet in the trailer? Everyone seems to think so, but I think he's talking to Poe, not Vader's helmet when he said, "I will finish what you started." I also noticed in the shot where Finn, Chewie, and Han have their hands raised that not only does Chewie have the bandage around his arm, but there seems to be a scar on his chest also. I also think the shot where Finn and Kylo fight in the snow forest is also where we see Rey crying over something.

I was actually thinking of doing Black Glassvik doors instead of the white Sindvik's but it would have cost me about $150 more, and I wasn't sure how crazy I'd be about the look when I got them all put together. I also picked up a white Besta TV unit, and I've already got an all-white bookshelf for my movies, and all the wood trim in the room is also white. So the all-white besta ended up matching very well for me in this room.

I wouldn't be surprised if a certain someone ends up not being a good guy anymore that the idea may have been "borrowed" from some ex-canon EU novels from the past lol.

I honestly thought Poe was going to have a smaller role in the film similar to maybe a more important version of Wedge, until I saw he has a scene with Kylo which makes me think he's pretty important. As someone who has had both black and white Bestas I can tell you for certain that they both have their advantages. The black/brown units do look more classy, especially with doors. I wonder if George had had the computer technology available back then if that would have changed how he imagined Yoda's character. Instead of killing him off he could have had him arrive on the second Death Star and get in a lightsaber fight with the Emperor. I love ROTJ just the way it is, but that could have been something totally different.

I really like the PAX system, but it just seems too complicated for me with all the additional parts you gotta get. It really looks awesome with the big statues though.
