Hello and welcome to my Star Wars themed mancave. As you can see I am a huge fan of both Star Wars Trilogies. The statues you see here are from Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format line. The collection itself is still very much a collection in progress, I couldn't tell you when I'll be finished but I do know that I am not done yet and I still have more statues on the way and I also have more posters/prints that will be added once they are framed.

The cabinets you see here are from Ikea, but all the parts are sold separately. The units themselves are called Besta, the doors are called Sindvik, and the interior lights are called Stotta.

In addition to the Star Wars collection the room features a Samsung 46" 3D LED TV, a Samsung HT-E5400 3D Home Theater System, as well as a Sony PS3 and a PS4.

After I saw the poster I was like "Is that a third Death Star?" LOL! It didn't really bother me at all with a second in ROTJ like it did with others, in fact I still really loved it. And I doubt its going to bother me here either. JJ has been pretty adamant that ANH is his favorite movie, so its kind of fitting that the plot of this movie is probably going to mirror ANH quite a bit.

I had a snowstorm here a couple weeks ago that was pretty big, but then it got warm enough that it all melted 3 days later .

I saw that SS revealed the details today of the Green Goblin PF and its priced at $520, which I think is insane. That got me thinking on how much I was even noticing PF prices were going up when I basically just got into SS 2 years ago. I went through your old thread for a bit to try to find something I wrote about prices:

Commander Cody looks pretty cool but its price tag is not so attractive. Its an easy pass for me since I don't have any PF's yet but if I had a collection I would be getting pretty livid at the constantly increasing prices. I think within less than 2years Star Wars PF's will be around $500 each.

I wrote that on 9-12-13 when Cody's price was revealed at $380. And I thought that was steep then LOL! Man, was I so right about where prices would be though!

For regular PF's though, and looking at what I have in my collection, I wouldn't pay that much for any of'em (except the two mentioned) considering Sideshows poor QC, notoriously sloppy paint apps, hollow statues, extremely poor packaging, etc. The price needs to reflect what you get. Unfortunately, it doesn't. I have a feeling prices aren't going up because of material costs, but rather SS trying to get as much as they can before the doors close and they go the way of MR.

I'd gladly take a 20 below freezing day with clear roads (no moisture) than a warm rainy day ANY day. No fun riding in the rain. Freezing cold is managable. Rain just sucks!

I still want to get that Scout on the Speeder someday but I have no idea where I'd put that thing. Thats a long ass piece.

I'm probably going to love the movie no matter what, but there is a part of me that thinks these new ones will be received online the same way as the prequels were. The internet is always a cesspool of hatred, so it wouldn't surprise me. If it happens though I'm sure I'll enjoy laughing at all of the people complaining about them the same way as I do with people complaining about the prequels. .

Believe it or not, I am SUPER STOKED they are re-releasing the Droids. I missed out on them and they are going for like $1200+ on eBay so hopefully this now means I can get them for retail . I think they are selling them separately this time though. If SS prices them higher than before you might see a post from me filled with rage and expletives next week LOL!

But I have not gone on any SW sites today, I stayed out of all the SW sections in the Sideshow forums, I stayed off Youtube, and I stayed off of Yahoo and all regular news sites and movie news sites. The bust looks awesome! No doubt! And, it is good for collectors who missed or passed in the first one. I'm a little bummed that there has been no "new" product. This move lately by Sideshow reminds me alot of Master Replicas and their final days. I hope it's not the case as much as I dislike some of the things SS does, they are capable of making really great product.

Stay off FB at all costs! And, if you do go on there, avoid anything that starts with, "So, after seeing TFA yesterday" LOL!

I would try and see it Thursday to avoid someone accidentally spoiling it for you. If you're sure you can avoid that though, wait until Friday. Be careful though. There are always those jerks in line who have seen it 5 times already and will talk as loud as they can for everyone to hear about it.

I only plan on seeing it once initially. Will probably go back a few more times but weeks later.

That said, I'm off until tomorrow night. Can't believe we are finally here!

I doubt that's the actual PF! I think it said it won't even go up for order until 2016.
