Hello and welcome to my Star Wars themed mancave. As you can see I am a huge fan of both Star Wars Trilogies. The statues you see here are from Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format line. The collection itself is still very much a collection in progress, I couldn't tell you when I'll be finished but I do know that I am not done yet and I still have more statues on the way and I also have more posters/prints that will be added once they are framed.

The cabinets you see here are from Ikea, but all the parts are sold separately. The units themselves are called Besta, the doors are called Sindvik, and the interior lights are called Stotta.

In addition to the Star Wars collection the room features a Samsung 46" 3D LED TV, a Samsung HT-E5400 3D Home Theater System, as well as a Sony PS3 and a PS4.

I know exactly what you are saying about not wanting to just leave them in the box. That part really sucks. But at the same time, its best to keep buying the pieces you know you'll want as soon as you can so you can get them at retail or below, and just worry about getting display cases later. The display case prices will all relatively be the same, but if you miss out on a figure it can double, tripple or even quadruple in price and then 1 piece can cost you what all of your displays would cost combined. As I typed that I realized how crazy we all are spending hundreds of dollars on a piece of plastic or polystone each LOL.

Thats what i thought they might end up doing, kind of like how Judge Dredd kept his helmet on the whole time in the last movie. But I'm hoping to get at least one scene with his helmet off.

That's true about figures going up in prices. I haven't checked ebay, but I've heard people complaining that the HT Han and Chewie prices have already gone up since they sold out. I might wait until I get my tax return back to buy display cases. Plus IKEA usually puts out new stuff in April so I guess I can wait to see what they have.

I just watched Dredd for the first time last month, I hadn't even realized they made a new one. It was pretty awesome.

Oh yeah! I get the usual, "You don't look like a Star Wars fan." Then I put a little scowl on my face and say, "WTF is a SW fan supposed to look like?" By this time they are either backpeddling or have an oh crap look on their face, LOL! My wife usually steals my thunder though and says I'm just joking around. My favorite time was when I went to a local comic shop looking for Visial Dictionaries, and the 2 guys there treated me like I was a poser. I played dumb like I only knew some of what SW was. Little did they know I was meeting my buddy there, and when he showd up he said to one guy, "This is one of the biggest SW fans you'll ever meet. You should see his room!" And, my buddy started showing them pics. LOL! So, it can come from both geeks and jocks I guess. Getting looked down upon for either being a geek or a poser.

I hope that is what it is! Just sad though that we haven't seen or heard anything in months! Even Iron Studios who announced their SW license a few months after XM did has a couple 1/10 statues coming or up for PO.

Yeah! I guess Boba would be older than what Logan is. They will most likely have him keep the helmet on just like Urban in Dredd. I guess it really depends on what the timeline is. Closer to ROTS or closer to ANH.

LOL! They are epic no doubt! Other than that, it is an awesome fun movie! Love disaster movies. That one scene where all the boats are racing towards the tsunami is frikkin' epic! Love that movie!

Ha, that's funny! It's annoying when fellow fans treat you like that though. I see them doing that a lot to girls they deem too attractive to be into nerdy things. I was lifting in a Star Wars shirt yesterday and a guy asked me if I had seen the movie yet. He looked at me funny when I said twice then started telling me how his friends who had seen it said it wasn't very good. I didn't feel like having that conversation with someone who hadn't seen it so I told him it was awesome and walked off.

Yeah that Power Girl is a little chesty...may have to keep her next to my bed, ha ha.

Sometimes people tend to want to say what they think others would want to hear or what's cool. I've noticed that from more casual fans. "You see the new one?" Me: "Yeah, and I f'n love it!" Them: "I haven't seen it yet." LOL! There was this "big" girl at the gym yesterday who was wearing a SW shirt, and I guess I was staring a little. She finally asked, "What?" And I said, "I f'n love that shirt!" We talked about the movie for a minute, but she was one of those people who had no idea I'd be such a fan. I tell ya, I don't care how big or small a woman is, there's nothing hotter than one wearing a Star Wars shirt!

Such a good movie man! I love the oldie with Sly, and to me the new one is even better. All the Slo-Mo scenes, LOL!

I did see the new Robocop, and I really liked it. But I saw a lot of hardcore fans of the original that didn't like the new one. But since I wasn't that much of a hardcore fan of the original I couldn't really see what people were complaining about with the new one. I thought it was a lot of fun. Oh, and Michael Keaton was in it, and any movie he is in is instantly awesome LOL!

I don't think I'll be willing to pay over $200 for this. The whole reason I love HT's is the incredible face sculpts, but with a character that doesn't have one, I'm just not that keen to spend that much on a fig. Although, it is still one great looking figure.

Dude, if they got Nick Fury to cameo nerds heads would explode out of the awesomeness, mine included. From what I heard though Disney and Fox are not going to make any kind of Marvel deal in the foreseeable future. For now I just gotta stay happy with Sony letting Disney use Spider-Man with the Avengers.
