Word of caution from an UK HDN Member about HMV (thanks VRob98)

People should just be aware of 2 things:
1) If you receive a damaged or faulty copy from now on, you will not receive a replacement or refund
2) If they charge your card and are then unable to fulfil your order, you will not be refunded.

The way a company operates whilst under administration is quite different to how it operates normally, and certain consumer rights are suspended. If anything goes wrong you would have to apply to the administrator or claim against your credit card issuer.

I'd encourage everyone who has orders in with HMV to consider the above, as I'd hate to see anyone here lose their money in all of this.

There's a blue line on 1 just before the "S" on the spine but that's got to be down to printing.

I have this, having just checked.....can live with that, better than a slash/scratch or dent.

Not complaining, was £11.99.....just glad I managed to snag one!

Just got off Amazon chat with extremly helpful rep. Told them the item was damaged and at first they only offered a full refund on return of the item. I then explained its OoS and said that i know Amazon offer a 15% "damage keep" refund. Got £2.25 knocked off and even pursuaded them to buy themselves a copy of Skyfall to lol.

I think I will sell my copy if it arrives mint and grab one of the other versions. Selling this one for £40 would essentially pay for the both copies. £11.89 is a good price, but nothing is even better

Another slashed spine here. It's under the shrinkwrap between the F and A but not that noticeable unless you were looking for it.

I want to scream, I have been hitting refresh on amazon non stop for like 3 days now and I can't get one ughhhhhhhhhhh seriously if anyone wants to sell me their spine slashed copy for cost I am your man.

Received my 3 copies this morning all with deep slashes across the spine that score right into the metal. All going back, leaving me and a buddy I ordered for without a copy.

And all thanks to some careless ape in a warehouse that couldn't be bothered to unseal a box properly.

Don't send em back I am sure I can find you someone that will buy one off of you hint hint

I got one with a spine slash and one with the blue line. Not too fussed about the blue line though as it's not particularly noticeable. I got 20% refunded for the spine slash.

Just to let people know, amazon gave me the partial refund on my copy with a blue line, at first they just wanted to go for the full refund saying I could replace when they had more but I said I would rather have kept it with nothing back at all than lose it and they gave me the £2 odd back instead so i took that. I know compared to a slash its nothing but if you don't ask.
