Yeah it's not really very limited, just a standard print run.

Bond is one of the few Western franchises that's still pretty big in Japan though (they have an 007 Museum over there) and bearing in mind the size of the Japanese market, 5000 may not be that huge a run for this particular title.

In any case, Japanese steels are generally of the highest quality, and if it features a well-designed slip or a Jaws-like presentation with clear slipcase, this could be one of the nicer releases for Skyfall. It just depends how much effort they put into it.

You're right about the quality of Japan steels. If this has a nice slip on it then I might get this but the Japanese text on the disc almost seduced me. I think that looks great.

Good thing is I might not need to pre-order this as it'll probably still be in stock when people post pics. I can decide then.

This release needs a major price drop. 3500 yen is the most expensive this title should be. It will be a catalog title by the time it comes out.
