Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?

I know they fit over the 1/4 slips great! Can't remember if they fit the lenticular ones or not. Don't remember which one I put in mine to stay.

All sides are protected, it opens on both ends.
T2 and Tangled has a full slip, the pics shows its also good for naked steelbook.

They fit 1/4 Slips and even the bigger lentis-just perfect

I have well over a 100 of both the the old and new types and the newer types will fit normal slipcase SBs unless they are very thick



Funnily enough there were complaints from people who open their SBs about the new ones being too big for open steelbooks so Bidou reintroduced the old type as an option so now he sells both the small old type and the newer wider type.

When I bought mines there were no bigger ones introduced and I feel that I'm cheated about that! That's the story...

Just tested on an opened Oblivion metalpak and the steel shells from blu-steels fit it just fine. Just like a normal, opened steelbook

The Kimchi ones are great imo, they fit almost anything... I say almost because it struggles to fit LGB Kimchi full slip, and buy that i mean its very tight, i decided to just polybag that one because it was going to damage the slip... I hooe that helps

The Blu-steels (Germany) 'steelshell' design is the best fit for opened steelbooks I have found. They also do 'Jumbo' sized sleeves.
Highly recommended.

Thanks, looks like those protect only 3 sides of Steel, I am looking for a solution that protects all 4 sides.

Didn't Kimchidvd sell the one that closes on the top and bottom? Secure on all sides, I think I managed to get 2 of those shells free with 2 steel purchases. I don't know if they sell them separate, might have to send a PM to choi
