Hope I have this in the right place. I'd like to get some hard cases for my more valuable steels. They seem hard to get. A seller on Ebay Germany is selling them, but won't ship to Canada. but was unable to get any. Can anyone help?:(

Wow, that's a lot of steelbooks! I say if you can afford to have that many steelbooks, you should properly protect them with sleeves. I'm just starting up my collection and I'm definitely going to get shells for mine :). I have noticed that with some of my steelbooks that are opened, they are getting scratches on them from the bookshelf.

I think I am going to bite the bullet and buy 100 and see how I like em. Then I am assuming I will be buying another 300. I can't stop buying steels and now that 24 hour zavvi sale, I grabbed the game and warrior but excellent prices. Wish I waited on a bunch of titles but u never know what sells out.

Not sure if this is allowed, but before I put them on eBay...

I'm selling 20 SC3 from Steelbook Central. PM for details.

Also, Matt @ Steelbook Central emailed me today:

i am new, so if this is frowned upon, i will delete this post, but for those who have ordered from steelbook central, how does one obtain coupon codes? after some orders, will they be offered? does one need to make a "substantial" order to receive them?

i only ask as the option is there to enter them and any way to reduce the shipping costs to the US would be great.

thank you in advance for your time.

Just wanted to post this picture of the Movie-Style "sealed SteelBook sleeves"

Was very surprised it fit as well as it did since the shrink is a little loose and it being a full-slip and all.

It goes all the way in, by the way ;)

Didn't get any PMs, so I've stuck them on eBay:

Kimchidvd sells them by 10qty on their website. The link was posted a while back.

Found it

Hey Oc-yes, they do, they have a separate listing now here (also in OP of this thread) http://www.kimchidvd.com/en/good/goods.jsp?good_seq=20044...so I may try those out....

Unless Steelshells has changed recently, the Movie Style sleeves are just slightly larger. I have some steels that are too tight of a fit for the Steelshells and fit fine in the Movie Style ones.

Thanks! I already have a bunch of SteelShells and I'm pretty pleased with those, but 19.30 € for 50 of the MS ones is a pretty good bargain.

I don't think that it would matter much, but the only other difference that you will notice are the flaps that tuck in...

Steelshells (left) have the two circular tabs that fold in, while Movie Style (right) has the tab that is the length of the shell that folds in.

Thanks again, vläd.
Just ordered 50 slipcases from Movie Style. At the rate I'm going, I figured I need at least that many in the near future.

I received my sleeves from movie style last week, and while they do the job and look pretty good on the shelf, they did have some minor scratches on them. Not a big deal, and they still protect your steels, but a perfectionist will probably notice them.

Now we're gonna need sleeves to keep the sleeves from getting scratched!!!

Shells from kimchi finally arrived.

Made of a really sturdy / heavy / good quality plastic and they fit good unsealed steelbooks, definitely not too much loose. They probably fit perfect standard sealed ones.

As you probably know they protect all the sides and the two flaps are long tabs at the top and the bottom of the shell.

I'm not so crazy about the kimchidvd.com white sign on the bottom rear (it's not so big anyway) and it's a bit meh they made the plastic junction on the spine side.

1,20 € each (for a small 20x order) delivered to Central Europe, so they're a better choice compared to the expensive Steelbook Central ones (1,40 € for a 50x order).

I had a delivery from steelbook central last week and am well chuffed with the protectors (i went for all sides without spine). The flap is a little annoying at times but by about the 20th one i found a way of folding them so it doesnt get in the way as much.
