The artwork is good, but I prefer the French and Italian editions. If the Italian edition turns out to be rubbish, I hope another Steelbook is released elsewhere with the same art.

Hmmm, it reminds me of this :) (someone should put them next to World War Z (and its big Z on the cover), and it's too bad only the back of the US/CA V for Vendetta has a big V, otherwise that's the end of the alphabet for you in steelbook form :D) :

And much like Kimchi, it had a goodie included (except it's a book, not just a booklet) :

I don't like the Kimchi Snowpiercer though, the logo is too small and even with great embossing it seems a tad boring, it's better suited for a backart imo. I prefer the art of my French version :) :

Interesting choice of art. I like it, but would've preferred something more along the lines of the French version. The color choice seems odd and doesn't say "snow" to me. Reminds me more of the District 12 steel.

I believe the color choice is to relate to the train itself.
Maybe the slip will have something related to ice. Like a layer of ice on the train.
At least that is what I am hopong for as I liked very much the steelbook.

Without going into spoiler territory, the events are almost 95% inside the train itself with rare glimpses here and there outside so IMO that artwork reflects the darkness and grittiness of the movie pretty well.

If I were to venture a guess, I'd say the packaging will have sthg related to snow, be it lenti, full slip or whatever it is kimchi decides to come up with.

Gotcha. I've yet to watch the movie, so I was unaware of how much actually took place inside the train.
