If you truly dont want it, sell it on ebay for like $75-100 ... I'm sure someone would be willing to pay the other $75 or $50 to get it fixed.

Diva and I got a broken one from one of her co-workers. I tried to fix it, but didn't have any luck, so I sold it on Craigslist for $80.

yeah you call sony and they send u a box and then you send them ur ps3 .. for $150 they send u another ps3 tht was not your original PS3 immediately. They basically fix ps3's, and ship them out as broken ones come in. If its like due to anything but like really damaging it .... like the whole thing breaking.

there is also outfits (i used one in minnesota) that will fix ur ps3 if they can for only $100. if they cant fix it tho then u eat the shipping costs and then still gotta send to sony to get fixed.

I dont know if I was lucky or what, but he didnt charge me anything on return shipping just my shipping to him. Tho it did state that you would be charged for shipping back.

i did that with my ylod one got almost half of what i paid for it back
