I ordered two and only got one last week. my 'the last jedi' order showed up today though.

Mine arrived but it’s misaligned.

Don’t want to send it back to them for a replacement as I know what they are like. Might be sold out, replacement might also turn up faulty or it might just never turn up at all.

Their customer service is so inconsistent.

When this happened for Attack of the clones they just sent me a replacement. For this one they are currently saying that it’s maybe just meant to be misaligned

What’s misaligned? Is it that the top (or bottom) juts out from the other half?

Mine arrived today misaligned, so much so that there’s a black bar from the side but on the front. We’ll see what support offers but I’m not optimistic. Feels like the quality control of these started out pretty good but has dropped considerably, every photo of every single steelbook since Revenge of the Sith that I’ve seen online has had misaligned art.

Also I just noticed that it smells like diesel, first time I’ve encountered that and I’m not a fan.

I got The Last Jedi but no Solo

I don't want to have to order two of everything just in case ones gets lost or don't arrive as it deprives someone else of a copy and also means I have two lots of money go out and then have to spend time printing labels, packing items up and going to the post office

The last item I had go missing was their Jaws steelbook set and that was one that a lot of other people never received

What doesn't help is having five steelbooks released in one week. They have so many more items to pack that it just means there's more room for errors

@mattyl149 I have ordered two copies and I haven't received any of them. I will be contacting them first thing when my 14 days are up to find out if I am going to be getting replacements

Well despite my strongly worded email to Zavvi yesterday over this missing item and saying in my email no more cut n paste replies and sort the problem I again get this today. and yes they can not even spell correctly !

Thank you for getting in touch about about your order Unfotionatley we are un able to make a missing items claim until the 20th due to this being dispatched on 6/11/2020 we do give delivery dates as a guide line and they can sometimes over run that date which is why we do ask you to allow 14 days before we can raise this with the delivery department.

I am sorry for any inconvenience caused by this.

Well I have one order left with them and after that I am closing my account and will buy from elsewhere even if the odd one requires an ebay purchase.
Never known such a **** outfit in my life !

HMV is the same you have to wait 14 days in UK

There is a increased backlog of post with various Royal Mail sorting centers and other postal providers in various countries due to Covid-19

It's not just Zavvi that are affected
A few of my recent orders from HMV and WB Shop is taking an extra 5-10 days to arrive from UK to Ireland with AddressPal
Usually I got parcels from HMV in 5-6 days it's now taking 13 - 15 days

Some sorting centers it varies the backlog of parcels to process

Some of my Zavvi orders arrive in 4 days and some are taking 5-14 days

It doesn’t matter what you speculate and even though it is likely that Zavvi have messed up due to their track record there is nothing that can be done until 14 days have passed.
Royal Mail will not investigate anything until a set amount of days have passed, that’s for standard Mail and tracked. Only guaranteed delivery 24/48 hours can be investigated as soon as the date has passed.
It may be annoying but there is nothing that you can do.

Zavvi parcels use franking pre paid labels so postage cost is already paid

There is lots of post delayed at the moment you can be lucky with some items that your parcel was processed in a sorting center that don't have excess post to process
Some items that get posted after other items can end up been processed ahead of outstanding post it will vary with sorting centers
Post often moves between various sorting centers before it's actually with your local post depot to be out for delivery

There is a huge increase of online shopping at the moment since the various lockdown's was reintroduced in UK and some other european countries

Just moved my remaining order over to Amazon and just one steel to come which as already been charged for Star Wars TROSW after this and my Solo issue resolved it's total close down of my account with these arse holes.
