Sony is releasing a new PlayStation Network puzzle game called QRuToN (pronounced ?kuru-ton?), similar to Puzzle Quest, according to this week?s issue of Famitsu magazine. The game?s main designers are Yasuhito Nagaoka and Kaori Shinozaki, whose previous collaborations include Namco?s classic Mr. Driller.

In the game you?ll be presented with several numbered tiles, and using a 2x2 cursor you'll rotate the tiles around, attempting to create 2x2 boxes of like-numbered tiles. Once you accomplish this task, the numbers inside the tiles change, allowing you to prepare well-planned chains with adjacent tiles.

QRuToN is planned as a PlayStation Network exclusive, available for both the PlayStation 3 and PSP simultaneously. Japanese gamers can look for the game on June 18 for ?1000 yen. The rest of the world will have to wait and see if the game is released outside of Japan.
