Got this the other day and it's a great looking steel. Would've been a stunner with a little gloss, and perfect if it'd been a 4-discer, but the art's so clean that I can't fault it.

As someone who prefers to swap-in domestic discs, I'm ending up with so many orphaned features discs these days that I'm gonna have to get a little disc wallet to hold them all. Or finally look into how to masterfully migrate spine strips......

I managed to get all 4 UK discs (the recent re-releases of Spider-Man 1 and 2, and both Spider-Man 3 discs) into this steelbook. The trick is to put a disc in the top right slot first, then slide another disc on top of it, but still under the little plastic flap from the slot below. It won't click in, but once you put the disc into the 2nd slot below that, it holds in place. You can shut the steelbook with all 4 discs inside and nothing is loose or getting crushed. Given how expensive it would be to harvest 4 disc cases, I'm going to stick with this.

You could even do the same with a 2 disc case, making it hold 3 on the right side, and add a hub to that on the left to hold 4.

Love this steel box set, clean with no foreign writing and the discs are great looking as well. So much better than the cheaper uk amaray box set. Worth the extra £'s, bought without hesitation.

Just ordered this, looks like a great set. Watched some youtube videos and i have to say it will go great with my amazing spiderman boxset.

Anyone got a list of the special features for this release? And is spiderman 2.5 on the spiderman 2 bluray?

Just want to know if i should keep my original 5 disc boxset?

Spider-man 1 and 2 do not have the special features from the orginal DVDs. Spider-man 2 and 2.5 are on the same disc.

Cant wait for this to arrive after christmas, ordered the transformers dark of the moon steelbook also. Both are very sexy.

Edit - This arrived 2 days ago, great steelbook. But i swaped the discs for the original bluray discs as the discs are the same but the german release doesnt have TrueHD 5.1 in english like the originals do.

Got this and although the art is decent, the special features are dismal
The regular DVD editions have all the special features. This set is only 3 discs...maybe next time

Is it worth it?

I purchased this set thinking I could finally replace my DVDs but the set is a bit lackluster in terms of special features (barley any from previous DVD sets make it on to this set). Packaging is cool as is the interior art, but I would have liked a more definitive set.

I bought the first film Spider-Man 1 when it came out. Since I bought this Trilogy steelbook, I did trade during the best buy Up Grade and Save. I like the steelbook but I wish there was emboss around the web eye!!

i saw one copy of this in a local müller store for (i think i remember) 19.99,-€.
if i had known this is long sold out i would've picked it up for that price.
