This is available on HMV's site too to preorder. What I don't get though is last time for Homecoming (if I recall correctly), HMV sold either the 4k or 3d version and Zavvi sold the other.
I've been hoping desperately for a 3D version to be made available. If this is the last film in the Infinity Saga, they've surely got to complete the collection with all film released in 3d cinematically also having a Bluray steelbook too.
But Venom's release has me worried that Sony just doesn't care for 3d regardless now with UK releases.

Same here. 3D is crucial for my enjoyment of big blockbusters like the MCU films. I don't understand why they can't just make a small run of 3D discs so that everyone can be happy .

HMV steelbook does not include 4K UHD
Different Steelbooks
Artwork HMV and Zavvi steelbooks will be different

Image on Zavvi and HMV website is just a placeholder mockup not actual artwork that will be used

No 3D release in UK

The description for the HMV steelbook says it will be 4k.

That’s regarding the offer for venom or into the spiderverse for £6.99 when you purchase this and it mentions that includes the 4K release etc

But I can’t see this being just a 2D releases unless the 2nd disc is just a bonus disc. Which will be pointless because it will just be a 7 min exclusive making of feature with only 30 seconds of new unseen behind the scenes footage!

Looks like zavvi have updated the rest of the collector editon art. Just waiting on what steel It will be now (art isn’t bad, but I can’t find a version of that back art, literally looked through hundreds of artworks and posters)
I quite like the idea of the suitcase box and the envelope looking like a folded up suit

Totally agree; no idea why Sony have stopped doing 3D in the UK. I now go to Film Arena to get my 3D Sony Steelbooks, only problem is postage is quite high, so usually have to order a few things to make it a bit more reasonable.

I hope that suitcase is one of those hard shell plastic cases we take on holiday because by the time Zavvi get it to the customer it will resemble something like a case Easy Jet as kicked halfway around the airport.

Far From Home seems to be getting a regular 3D case release in the UK. I'm hoping that 3D might be included with the (zavvi and hmv) Steelbooks, as they apparently include an extra disc (3 discs zavvi, 2 discs hmv) whereas the regular Blu-ray case only has one disc. Doubt that they'd do a bonus disc exclusively just for the Steelbooks so that's why I hope the other disc is 3D.

Wow that looks the best of Zavvi's collectors editions so far. I haven't paid attention to the others, do they come back in stock nearer the time of release?

Good to see that Sony UK changed their mind about 3D release

It's only available at the moment to order as a amaray release

Amazon UK

HMV

Is that steel not same as hmv or different
Artwork for steelbook is not known yet for UK

Zavvi and HMV using same placeholder artwork (Artwork TBC)
That will change when artwork is revealed very likely Zavvi and HMV steelbooks will have different artwork

That's good - may stick to the amaray then, rather than pay over the top for the Film Arena steelbook
