I noticed something quite odd with my copy. Literally noticed yesterday when I watched it again. The bottom of the lenti is not cut correct and bottom (5mm) should actually be at the top. Lol

I’ve circled it below. The top of the vultures wings

I can't recall any other single edition selling for £500 muchless 700+ and usually one click such as doctor strange goes for silly money. The seller had the listing as private so who knows if that's a genuine winning bid.

It´s not only this Spiderman, all those auctions from the guy ending yesterday were quite odd, ending for far more than usual, like @lissyt said seller has private bidding so that´s suspicious already.....

Wonder how many of those yesterday´s auctions won´t be paid and edn up going again....

i am resigned to never owning this edition. i had that sale on watch just as i was interested to see what it went for. the same seller (on behalf of someone else, i think?) also sold the Middle Earth shelf and leather bound edition for a reaosnably comparable price to when i bought it on release, so it was clearly a case of different things going for wildly varying prices.

still, if someone out there is willing to pay that much, it's a free market, so good luck to them. and i say that as someone who failed to secure two non-Marvel items from the same seller...

I know who you're referring to as I was watching their Blade Runner HDZ listing but then when I looked through their other listings they had loads for sale, all with different image styles, all with already sky high 'bids'. At that point I bailed as it was obvious something was fishy about them

Whoever I buy off on ebay (and trust me it's rare) all I care about is getting my items, nothing else.
I know my limits price wise. I'm sure that guy will send all of his out now he's made his money.
