Fair enough they have to increase their international shipping charges, 99p worldwide was unbelievably cheap - but to just abruptly cancel people's orders (not talking about bulk orders over 5) and close accounts is such bad business.

Shipping was £9.99 per steelbook for me (india) actually. And my orders haven't been cancelled yet - awaiting stock pick according to the current status..

Poor business model. They could have just charged more for shipping instead of leaving the customer high and dry. I had my order or Rodger Rabbit cancelled. That one hurt.

I just ordered The A Team steelbook from Zavvi last week and so far I do not know of any issues. I would really hate for them to stop shipping to the US since there are quite a few more steels I would like to get from them that are NLA such as Black Hawk Down, MIB trilogy, Zombieland and Bad Boys.

I know I would not be opposed to that.

I still have not seen anything about my Roger Rabbit order being canceled. When did they do that?

Also, according to their website they still ship internationally.

Yeah, Jammy is spot on! Originally Virgin Megastores, then changed to Zavvi as part of a rebranding in 2008 I believe. Then they went bust and the brand was bought out to remain in business as an online retailer only.

I don't think it was rebranding, as such. I think that the directors bought it out from Richard Branson. Or something like that, anyway.
