after having opened the first release of this....i was very thought full of opening this one...
its an ok steelbook....BUT not when its compared to the first one...
i dont know what standards have the people that prefer it to the first one...
(its like taking a picture with a digital camera and an SLR....picture the same quality is different)
lacks in discs and stickers (for those who care about these)
on its own...its ok...
compared its a fail...

Is the play.com version the one with the clear back which copies the front without the ship? Thanks if you can help

Hi mate. Both the Play and Zavvi versions are virtually thr same except for thr fact that Play version has 3 discs and is more sought after.

You will know which one it is on ebay just from the price.

The main difference will be the price they are being sold for on ebay. The more expensive ones will be the Play.com ones and the cheaper ones will be Zavvi. The difference you mention on the backs is because one has the backing card on it. The backs basically look the same under the backing card.

They are both the same steelbook. The second pic has tbe j-card still on.

WOW I own the 3 disc play.com version. Didn't even realise it was remotely rare. The prices on eBay for that one are all over £70. I thought it was just a mass produced one. Glad I kept it mint lol

Got this release and swapped the inner with that of a junker 3-disc steel

Did the same for the Into Darkness ES Hero steel
