There are two different order descriptions for each Steelboook:

1. Star Trek XI - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]
2. Star Trek XI - Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]

No 1 (The 'Zavvi Exclusive') is the black one.

And this is not the steelbook but just giving you idea on how it would look with the front and back. ie. giving the collector the choice of which side they want as front so you can switch the plates.

If you want this one you need to order this one the other one you have ordered is the white version

Right. Allow me to clear this up. Zavvi are selling two steelbooks for Star Trek. One is the white release (like the play.com one), and it'll be released from other countries such as Japan. Then there's the Zavvi exclusive one, which is the black one with two faces.
That simple.

I'm not doubting what Zavvi have said but customer services dont always know everyrhing, unfortunately! Wreck has previously stated that they are selling two versions. I'll wait until he says otherwise before I believe it...

chan, there are 2 Zavvi versions bud. creasey is prone to misinformation and thinks steelbooks and collectors are stupid, so general rule of thumb is to just ignore his posts

The white one that looks like the Play exclusive from back in the day. It is sold out on their site but here is the thread link for reference. In the UK it is a Zavvi exclusive but this version is due to be released in some other territories too. Main difference is that it will be single disc whareas the Play one was 3 discs. Probably going to lack the quality of Play version too but we'll have to wait and see

The black one (alternate artwork), which is the one in this thread and hasn't sold out yet, is the second Zavvi exclusive. It appears that this black one is a global exclusive but we all know there is no guarantee
