There are two different order descriptions for each Steelboook:

1. Star Trek XI - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]
2. Star Trek XI - Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]

No 1 (The 'Zavvi Exclusive') is the black one.

And this is not the steelbook but just giving you idea on how it would look with the front and back. ie. giving the collector the choice of which side they want as front so you can switch the plates.

This is what i didnt want to happen for the artwork to have people plastered all over it.

im a big fan of the film so ill still buy. i like the fact it is black rather than the previous edition and it could look very nice alongside the white one.

I think it'd be awesome if it comes with clear slipcover which the title be printed on it so both Kirk and Spock could be our cover

I think you got that wrong. I think this version is the Zavvi exclusive and the other version "white" was the one that was not zavvi exclusive.

Maybe someone can confirm this?

I don't think it is that complicated.

If i understood correctly this gives:

The white one is a re release of the play.com exclusive (with normally some differences in the finition)
the black one is a new steel, zaavi exclusive

This black one is a Zavvi exclusive, currently not available anywhere else worldwide.

The white re-release is coming out in a number of countries but in the UK is exclusive to Zavvi.
