There are two different order descriptions for each Steelboook:

1. Star Trek XI - Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]
2. Star Trek XI - Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook [Blu-ray]

No 1 (The 'Zavvi Exclusive') is the black one.

And this is not the steelbook but just giving you idea on how it would look with the front and back. ie. giving the collector the choice of which side they want as front so you can switch the plates.

I thought this was the Zavvi exclusive? Germany are getting the exact same one. Not sure if I prefer the old design with the title below and the image zoomed our a bit. Still looks great though.

Wreck confirmed a while back that the UK 'exclusive' was a percentage of a bigger run, the rest going to another territory. The UK slice being if I remember right, 3000 copies . So the Zavvi ones are a UK exclusive, the rest it seems are earmarked for a German release

Zavvi exclusive doesn't necessarily mean worldwide, just exclusive in the UK...

Then why are Zavvi releasing a white one then aswell? Or has that been knocked on the head?

I've ordered what I thought was both versions. I won't be wanting two of these black ones.

We really need to find out the print numbers (total- u.k vs german) as many people will buy due to the low print number I myself am not to keen on the artwork but I will buy it for my collection to join the white one in the display and if you can now get this supposed ltd edition w/alt artwork from Germany and pay less for it and from amazon no less then clearly zavvi will loose out.

I hope the german one won't be exactly the same (maybe printed fsk?). This wouldn't make the zavvi one disirable at all with a print run all over the country ( german one doesn't seem to be amazon exclusive, means massive print run )
