thank you, kind sir! really appreciate the tag. not one for me, this: i enjoy watching the rebooted Star Trek films, but i just have no desire to own them: they're the kind of fun film i always watch on tv, but for some reason never buy. but if i was, it would be edition 2. btw, i've not been watching this thread, so is that Anton Yelchin on the back of edition 1? now that's a nice touch.

I was gonna order the Jaylah bare Steelbook from nova or Kimchi including shipping just for the bare steel it would have been 60CAD (but It sold out so quickly I missed out Thankfully )

So For the bump in price for the FAC Package including the Jaylah Steelbook it is not that much more expensive..

yea, that makes sense. I like Jaylah but i wanted a steelbook that'd match the previous 2 steelbooks i have. So i dont hate the steelbook, but i wouldnt pay this much for it.

True. Btw, I am not against the retailer but just against the notion of starting a GB way too early, paying upfront and been given zero room to pull out.

I really luv the Star Trek (is it ok to call it a trilogy now?) movies and those editions look the bees knees but I'd like also the first two to complete the set!

Thanks for the tag! what beautiful packages! I can't decide which one I'm going for. On the one hand, E1 is a fantastic option. So much color. And FA will probably do some amazing finish on it. On the other, the design for the lenticular slip in E2 is phenomenal. And that's my favorite steelbook of the two.

I'm probably going to go for E1 though. The embossed title in the steelbook and the colors used on the slip and the steel are amazing. Plus I tend to like FA's full slips more than their lenticulars. And I still get the lenticular magnet which is nice.

Another big pass for me. One premium edition of a film from a continuing series is utterly pointless. It keeps happening, and I'll keep passing. It will have to be spectacular for me not to - and this isn't, I'm afraid . . .
