NEW UPDATE 8/13/2013:

We have a short update on the finish details for our 2 exclusive Star Trek Into Darkness steelbooks. Both the steelbook in the Villain Edition and the Hero Edition steelbook will have debossed title treatments and be matte finishes. We had some fantastic ideas for the ***8220;special packaging***8221; we promised for the Hero Edition, but unfortunately the time constraints of turning this around in just over a month before the release date meant that none of them were possible. The Entertainment Store exclusive sticker that has been on our previous releases will be on these releases too, and we can only apologise for being able to make the Hero Edition special rather than extra special.

All is not lost though ***8211; some of the special packaging we had planned for Star Trek Into Darkness will be present on our next release, which we will be announcing exclusively via HDN on Tuesday 20th August. You won***8217;t be disappointed, I promise!

Love the satin finish! Don't think gloss would have suited it - it's great for those steelbooks with really vibrant colours (like Watchmen Play.com and hopefully the Fifth Element) but I think this choice for Star Trek is a winner!

I gave it a watch last night and can safely say its one of the best audio tracks I've ever heard! Be warned it is loud!, but definitely utilises every speaker perfectly. Maybe not as much low end as I would have liked, but I still absolutely loved it

just received one of my mine. invoice inside says 29 Aug so im guessing it wasnt send until friday unless they wrote the wrong date on invoice. strangely the one that has come it the late order i made for my US buddy. Hopefully my other turns up tomorrow as the packaging was quite badly battered on this one, luckily the steel was fine.
