+1 with you. They should have done different artworks for Iron Man 3.

Lets hope they will do it for Man of Steel and Pacific Rim

Pacific Rim would be cool if there was choice of, say different Jaegers, Kaiju, and maybe a variant with a young Mako.

As for these recent three Into Darkness steelbooks, I will probably get the cheapest unless there is more of an incentive to pay UP TO £5 more. I've never spent over £18 on a blu-ray release so far and I plan to keep it that way (that was Looper and I actually got it for about £16.50 in the end...long story).

Not sure if I want to dismiss the rumours of an HMV version as just a rumour...half of me hopes it was so I don't have to bother with going to my local HMV, whilst the other half hopes they do get one with nicer artwork than the rest of them...

Good luck man. This is an admirable stance but once this collecting addiction gets you it's difficult to say no.

You'd be surprised...I have quite a few steelbooks already but cannot justify spending £20+ on something I can get as an amaray for half the price - the exception would be extra discs, or really damn good artwork! Just my own rule, not saying everyone should follow it. Of course I would love the Drive steelbook for instance, or True Grit, or Dragon Tattoo, but I wasn't collecting blu-ray's when they were released so only got regular DVD's and now they sell for extortionate amounts so I just have them on amaray.

Assuming this one is 2D only then it's almost certainly the one for me. I can't see 3D properly and it gives the wife a headache. I don't like the idea of paying more for something I can't use. I'm quite happy to miss out on a steel if need be (eg. Life of Pi) so it's great we have so much choice with STID.

Really like this Amazon version. A close second to the ES exclusive with the Enterprise art.

That's a shame dude - the 3D in this film was probably the best I've seen (actually using 3D properly rather than just sticking things in the bottom left of the frame to add depth).
