Still no word on the pin case...and as far as I can see on the site, there is no way to check any progress.

The message still just says,

"Congratulations! You have entered all 7 codes. You will receive from us in the next few weeks automatically your pin box to the registered address. Please check your address on the occasion, here if anything has changed"

However, it has said that since December 23rd when I entered my 7th, and final, code...

I was wondering on the pin case too. I guess its good no one else got it. so at least I'm basically in the same boat.

Still not heard anything, so will try and contact them from the pin case web page.

Sending and email to hamburg and munich to see if I get a reply.

I have purchased all the star trek tng series and put all my codes onto the web page on the 20/12/14. It said that the star trek pin case would be despatched in 2 weeks. Not received anything yet. Is there an update on the pin case. Thanks.

And yep I am sending the message in English, lol

I'm guessing that you (nor anyone) has had any sort of reply regarding the pin case?

I'll be really annoyed if, for whatever reason, the pin case doesn't happen!

Just sent of another email, to all the email addresses listed on the paramount.de site that I listed.

Hello, can you help me? I have purchased all the german star trek tng steelbooks and entered the codes on the 20/12/14. It says on the web page that the pin case should be sent out for delivery in 2 weeks. 2 months later and I have still not heard/received the pin case. Can you give me an update.

If there is production issues I would love to see a 8th pin added with the pin case. Maybe a borg pin.

Thanks for any help.

I wasn't too hopeful for the pin case so I've been searching and found one even better and it has an acrylic see through window so you can actually see all your pins. It's only like $21 too.
Anyways just in case you all we're looking for something a little better.

Just went onto the star trek site to see if there was an update, and there was a pop up saying -

Dear fans of Star Trek,

We also eagerly waiting for the finished pin boxes, each collector of the 7 Steelbook we get.

Unfortunately, due to a production error, which we have unfortunately only noted after the completion of the boxes, there is a delay.

We do not expect a delivery of the boxes before the end of March. Please excuse the long wait.

Many greetings
Your STAR TREK DE team

I don't suppose anyone has heard any further news regarding the Pin Box, have they?

According to a post (which I never actually saw when I logged in), the Star Trek DE team said that the Pin Boxes wouldn't be ready before the end of March...it's now the end of April, and (as far as I can see) there has not been any update...

I am still hopeful, but some news would be good...

Still not heard a thing so I have sent of another email,

Hello, just wondering if you guys have an update on the following promotion,

http://www.amazon.de/dp/B008FN6VH0/?tag=hidefnin0d-21

http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?ref=SERP&br=ro&mkt=en-GB&dl=en&lp=DE_EN&a=http%3a%2f%2fwww.startrek.de%2ftng%2f

I purchased all the steelbooks at the end of december, inputted all the codes and it said on the 24 december 2014 that it would be shipped in 2 weeks. You guys have since updated the web page to say by the end of march but still no word and we are in may.

The season 1 came out on amazon germany, 19 october 2012, season 7 came out 18 december 2014. I dont understand why there is such a delay, its not like you haven’t had enough time to get them produced. The whole set has cost me about £500 delivered.

Any chance of some compensation, either –

1 bar of platinum or

An exclusive 8th pin that comes with the box, make it more special, maybe a borg pin.

The star trek collectors await your response.

Thanks, steven.

http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=de&to=en&a=http://www.paramount.de/Press

I didn't get a direct response last time but they did update there web page, so here is hoping. Hope some of you guys feel free to email them as well, £500 for the set, the 1st steel came out on the 19th October 2012 going by amazon Germany, its not like they haven't had enough time to be prepared for this.

I have to say that I am very disappointed in this...the lack of any information or update from Star Trek/Paramount (Germany) is quite poor...

Having spent 500 Euros on this set, to not get what you paid for, is not really acceptable...and the lack of any real contact information makes it doubly difficult to follow this up.

If I had simply wanted the 7 seasons of TNG on Blu Ray alone, I could have bought them all on Amazon UK for a total of £125, towards the end of last year...a fraction of what was paid!

The email address you mention above really only seem to be press contact addresses, and I very much doubt that Paramount (de) press people will have any information on anything along these lines....

I have a nagging feeling that this will simply disappear, and the pin box will never see the light of day! :(

There's still hope...
The site now says: (Chrome translated version)
Love Star Trek fans,

A production error, we unfortunately could find only after completion of the boxes, there is unfortunately a delay.

The boxes are currently delivered by us.Please have a little patience and sorry for the long wait.

Your Star Trek DE Team

I noticed they had dropped march from the bubble. If I was any good at german, I would start harassing amazon.de, since they have the exclusive on the deal. See if amazon can put the pressure on there suppliers.

@smcbeath,

I did exactly that a week ago (well, 10 days)...I firstly tried "live chat"..no use there, live chat (on Amazon.de) is only available in German.

Tried calling, but after 3 attempts, I only ever got German speaking CS agents...

I then went via Amazon UK, and eventually (after much persuasion by me) got put through to a UK supervisor, who said he would do his best to contact Amazon.de and ask for a fluent English speaking CS agent to call me...

Next day, a call from a 0049 telephone number on my phone, answered it, and it was a pretty good English speaking Amazon.de guy...

To cut a long story short, over the next 3 days, I had 3 conversations on the phone, and a few emails, and the outcome was, that although Amazon.de advertised the item as an exclusive, they had no control over the shipping of the exclusive Pin Box, as it was being supplied by a 3rd party, despite it being an Amazon exclusive.

I argued that their advertising was then very misleading, and that Amazon should, at the very least, take some responsibility for the supplier delivering ALL of the advertised items that were part of the Amazon exclusive deal.

The guy was quite helpful, and reasonably understanding, and did concede (to a degree) that Amazon did have an element of responsibility, due to it being advertised on their site (and still is), but he said, after quite a long discussion with his supervisor, that Amazon were unable to contact the suppliers of the Pin Box, as they (Amazon) only really had the same information as me (the customer)...i.e what was printed on the poster...in other words, no contact information for the company (Paramount/StarTrek.de) supplying the Pin Box...

What he did do though, as a gesture of ownership of Amazon's side of the problem, was to refund me the price of the last Steelbook purchase I made, so a couple of days later I got a 75 Euro refund on my credit card, and that was as far as I as able to get, going down the Amazon.de route...

I did consider taking it a step further, but partly because of the language barrier, and partly because I had accepted the 75 Euro refund, I felt that the Amazon route was exhausted, and that I could only hope now that at some point (whenever that might be), the Pin Box might just suddenly appear!

75 euros is a bit of a result. I might try amazon uk as well, not for the money but to try and pressure paramount of move there backsides and maybe include an exclusive 8th pin with the box. Have I said that I want a borg cube pin, lol.

I get the feeling that paramount are leaving it as late as possible so they only do one box run to cover orders. Going by this thread there doesn't seem to be that much of demand for this, so it could become quite a collectable.
