Yeah the Best Buy pic in OP looks like Kylo Ren customised some steelbooks, they best keep him out during production or hide them all.

Was this movie released in 3D in the theaters?

Not in the US, but it was overseas.
It wasn't shot in 3D but was converted afterwards, so it's no big deal that it's not included imo.

I had read before release date that they decided to not show it in 3D in the US for some reason.

I guess they did, but none of the 8 theaters within driving distance of me was showing it 3D, so I assumed what I had read was correct.

Just done the pre-order for the group buy. Was not happy to discover the Zaavi edition with no title on the spine. I didn't mind so much when that happened with the marvel ones, but not Star Wars... clearly would not match up to the others. Well done to Andy for setting up the group buy.

Dang it. I held off on buying the other Star Wars steels, because I thought Disney would change up the style for the new films. Looks like it matches the other steels. Now I gotta buy all those, plus this one.

And I like this way better than the amaray slipcover that just has BB-8.
