nova dont need to change anything they are doing cause they sell out pretty much everytime minus dredd and a couple of others. its been how many releases now and they havent changed a thing

so bored of reading the same comments from the same people. YAWN. move on. You win some you lose some.

Every pre order, it's the same old story. We can write comments, make posts etc., about how Nova should do this or that. At the end of the day, they haven't done anything to improve the checkout process and I don't think they ever will. Pretty sad and embarrassing for them imo. They deserve all the harsh criticism they get.

amen to this. NM gives giant middle finger to entire customer base with every steelbook preorder.

its supposed to be unacceptable.

@paulboland please post these comments of yours on their facebook. And MAYBE they will pay attention to them.

They didn't take note after Drive, nor after any single time after that and this will be no different.

All Nova are worried about is selling their product which they have done. They make the $$$ they don't care ;) When people stop buying their products to prove a point (which lets face it will never happen) only then will they take a vested interested in trying to sort out their diabolical system. (I tried to order a lenti in the hopes I could sell it on to a fellow ninja at cost to help them out) but as with most of you guys it just kept throwing me back to the checkout page.

Missed out on this and normally I would be upset but I couldn't care less right now, I'm so happy. We just welcomed our second son to this world on Wednesday and got to leave the hospital earlier today. Now I'm reading all the comments and as expected, this was a disaster. Happy for all legit ninjas who got what they want, scalpers I hope you get dented steels.
Off to bed, sleep will be hard to come by during the next few weeks lol

I already have
They did listen before with a very high demand release and if they had not taken my advice then that particular release would have been even more difficult than it was

In my opinion when it a very high demand release you need to have all the print run only sold from the website to help reduce the strain on the website

They get abuse on facebook which is not nice as some are abusive and use bad language but a lot of customers just voice their concerns politely I find it strange they not reply to these polite concerns considering it happens regularly with high demand releases and you would think as a business they do all that is needed to make the ordering process easier and less problems

Pre Selling the stock before it goes live to Group Buys and Resellers does not solve the website be better for customers to be able to place an order it makes it more difficult

I know they want to sell all stock as quickly as possible but they will loose more customers if the website continues to have less stock available for a pre order when it's high demand

I keep repeating this but a new customer today their experience of attempting to order from their website would not be a pleasant experience and that customer is less likely to use the website again going by their first experience which means releases not high demand will struggle to sell due to lack of repeat custom because the customer won't want to use them again

I have no problem with it, but neverteheless everybody has the right to complain about her/his bad buying experience. However, I agree that we all already know long enough that it is difficult to place a high demand preorder on Novas website. Therefore I have a personal limit of about 15 min that I try to get one. If I do not succeed during this time period I move on, because there are so many other great releases. If I would spend an hour or more trying and in the end have nothing, that would be too frustrating.

Not sure why so many of you are surprised. It was mentioned many times how this would go. Some of you are acting like this was your first-ever nova experience (some maybe, but most I expect not). Yes it sucked. Yes you can complain, but to an extent. You knew it was going to be the same nova servers. How were some of you expecting something different is beyond me. Some of you even said it would sell out within minutes, even seconds. It's been clearly mentioned that it would probably take at least 30 min just to reach the checkout page, then if you got as far as it's actual sellout, was your item still in your cart or accidentally removed as has happened to so many before and even some I'm reading today. All of these situations have been expressed time and time again, this isn't new. The first Avengers release was so bad that 1-2 hours in it was rescheduled a week later, and even then it was still just as bad. All of you knew this was going to be a poor experience if regular releases were bad, because this is STAR WARS. No, Nova wasn't going to suddenly change and finally decide to upgrade their servers out of the blue. We knew what to expect. Although frustrated during the process, I couldn't help but laugh along the way because it was just another novamedia experience, same as always.

I admit I have been lucky enough to have been successful 9 out of 9 orders on their site (Avengers, Nightcrawler, Jurassic World, Age of Ultron, Dredd, Hulk, Ant Man, T2, Star Wars) and I only remember Nightcrawler and Dredd being easy experiences, but that's because no one jammed in the get them, which is why even now all versions of each are still available. I even made that live video when I ordered Age of Ultron and it took like 20 minutes:

...this was expected, not surprising at all, so I'm just confused why some of you are.
